With its double-height structure and adjustable firmness, this inflatable blow-up queen-size mattress aims to provide the ultimate in comfort and convenience. Esteemed by users for its durability and ease of use, it promises a restful sleep akin to traditional beds. **Advantages** 1. **Quick Inflation and Deflation**: The built-in electric pump inflates the mattress in minutes, ensuring quick setup. 2. **ComfortCoil Technology**: Offers excellent support and firmness, mitigating back and neck pain by allowing customizable firmness levels. 3. **Durable Build**: Features a thick material that resists punctures, boosting longevity. 4. **Raised Edges for Safety**: The mattress includes slightly raised edges to prevent rolling off, enhancing user safety. 5. **Easy to Clean**: The flocked top is simple to clean and doesn't easily lose its texture. 6. **Quiet Operation**: While the motor can be slightly loud, it's comparable to a vacuum and is tolerable given its brief use duration. 7. **Portable and Lightweight**: Easy to move, making it great for travel or rearranging rooms. 8. **Good Customer Service**: The company has a reputation for excellent customer service, promptly replacing faulty units. 9. **Versatile Use**: Suitable for both temporary and occasional use, accommodating guests comfortably. 10. **Temperature Control**: Flocking on the top surface helps to regulate temperature, avoiding the discomfort of plastic heat transfer. **Disadvantages** 1. **Air Leakage Over Time**: Some users report slow air leaks after extended use, requiring regular top-ups. 2. **Noise Level**: The inflation pump can be noisy, potentially waking others if used at night. 3. **Pump Reliability Issues**: Instances of pump malfunction, such as emitting smoke, have been reported. 4. **Not for Long-term Use**: Designed mainly for temporary use; it may not endure as a permanent bedding option. 5. **Size Limitations**: For taller individuals, the raised edges might be uncomfortable or restrictive. 6. **Quality Consistency**: Some units may suffer from manufacturing defects, such as seam failures. 7. **Cord Length**: The power cord might be too short for some setups, limiting placement flexibility. 8. **Sensitivity to Weight**: The mattress might not handle dynamic weight shifts, such as jumping, without damage. 9. **Limited Patch Repair**: Comes with a minimal patch kit, potentially insufficient for multiple repairs. 10. **Potential Firmness Variability**: May not be able to achieve desired firmness for everyone. **Conclusion** The SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress stands out for its comfort, convenience, and excellent customer support, making it an ideal choice for temporary sleeping solutions. While it does exhibit some drawbacks, notably regarding long-term usage and occasional manufacturing issues, the overwhelming positive feedback and the company's readiness to rectify problems underline its value. Whether for guests, camping, or moving transitional periods, this air mattress is a solid investment for consistent comfort. **FAQ** 1. **How long does it take to inflate the mattress?** - Typically, it takes about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate the mattress using the built-in pump. 2. **Can I adjust the firmness of the mattress?** - Yes, the mattress features ComfortCoil Technology allowing you to adjust the firmness to your liking. 3. **Is the motor loud during inflation?** - The motor can be as loud as a small vacuum, but since inflation is quick, it's generally not a major issue. 4. **What happens if the mattress starts leaking?** - If you experience leaks, the mattress comes with a patch kit, and customer service is known for providing prompt replacements. 5. **Are the raised edges beneficial?** - The raised edges are designed to prevent roll-off, but may feel inconvenient for some, especially taller individuals. 6. **Is this mattress suitable for outdoor camping?** - Yes, it is designed to be portable and durable enough for outdoor use as well as indoors. 7. **How often do I need to add air?** - Depending on use, topping it up with air every 4-5 days is common. 8. **Does it come with a warranty?** - Yes, it comes with a limited warranty which covers defects and some other issues. 9. **Can I use it as a permanent bed?** - While it's comfortable, it's primarily meant for temporary use and might not withstand daily long-term use. 10. **What if the electric outlet is far from my bed setup?** - You may need an extension cord since some users note the built-in cord isn't long enough for every situation.

Title: Best bed I have had for a very long time. (July 2023 Addendum)
Content: First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers!

Title: Incredible product -- even better customer service!
Content: My wife and I bought this air mattress mostly so that our daughter and her friends would have an extra place to sleep during sleepovers. We have a very social daughter, so it's gotten a lot of use. :-) It's great. Comfy, easy, sturdy ... just everything you'd want. Unfortunately, it started losing air one day. We're not sure why. No one jumped on it or punctured it. We were obviously disappointed. I reached out to the company ... and they immediately sent us a replacement! I could not have been more impressed or grateful. We will recommend them to everyone! The product is excellent, and the customer service was absolutely excellent. What more could you want?

Title: Quick to set up, relatively comfortable
Content: Used this (twin size) bed for a week over the holiday, had no problems. Didn't wake up with any weird back or neck pain, only had to top it up a couple times. Inflates and deflates quickly in only a few minutes. Material does feel thick and hopefully more resistant to puncture than a cheaper brand (not that I am going to test it out...). For what it's worth, I also own the queen size version. Used that for about 2 weeks last year while in the process of moving out of my apartment. Obviously nothing beats an actual bed and mattress, but that one also held 2 adults for that long without any issues.

Title: Amazing Customer Service!!! Pretty great air mattress, too
Content: We bought an air mattress from SoundAsleep (through Amazon) because of the positive reviews. We needed something quick for some last minute guests, but didn't want to waste money on a pile of junk. We got the air mattress, but unfortunately after just two uses, the mattress wasn't staying inflated. We left a message with the company, and before we could even blink, they were already shipping a new one to our house. The replacement came so quickly, I was pretty shocked. The new air mattress works fantastic - no issues at all. It's also pretty comfy, our guests liked how it was raised so it felt like they were sleeping on a real bed and another guest said it was more comfortable than the real mattress she has on her bed at home. The turn dial to inflate and deflate makes set up and take down a snap. The only thing I could possibly recommend is to have a longer cord to plug it in. Our house is old and each room only has one outlet in the least helpful spots, so a longer cord could help alleviate any issues of having to move the mattress around. The cord itself has a nice little cubby for storage with is nice. With all the junk you could buy, I really think it's worth going with a company that stands by their product and remediates any issues quickly and painlessly... which is exactly what SoundAsleep did. Plus, the mattress itself is nice! Highly recommend this brand!

Title: Good stuff… but.
Content: Bought it for a weekend getaway. Inflated and deflated quickly. Light to move around. Feels more like a real bed than I was expecting. The mattress doesn’t make any noise when moving around, the motor might be a little loud for some. I’d compare it to a small vacuum. But less than 4 mins to fill it wasn’t a big deal at all. My only complaint would be the length. I’m 6’1, I got on the mattress, however, the edges are raised and can be a little bit annoying. I think a smaller topper (memory foam or pad) would fix that issue easily. I would definitely recommend this mattress.

Title: Motor burns out and smokes
Content: As soon as I turned the pump on it smoke started to come out. I turned it off, manually deinflated and more smoke was coming out inside the air mattress. I took it outside and poured water on the pump and the smoke stopped.
