Main points: - the HEPA folds are not as dense as the original Coway filter, maybe 20% less surface area, but at about 50% of the cost as the name-brand, I can accept that - this HEPA filter fits very snugly into the slot, so I expect it to work very well - there’s a bit of bowing in one corner of the filter that isn’t exactly 90 degrees, leaving a bit of a gap… but it doesn’t look that bad to me - the carbon filter comes in a plastic bag with a few ventilation air holes, so it’s possible that the carbon already absorbed a ton of VOC and isn’t going to be effective, especially since 6 filters = 2-3 years worth of changes. Overall pretty good first impressions, but of course the real question is whether this will stand the test of time. I’ll find out in about 2 years when I’m through all these filters!
