Super quiet and then one morning my wife was cooking bacon and the auto kicked in and ramped up to high to clear the air. Tells me the sensors really work and doing their best to keep your air clean. Also gives you status of filter cleanliness and when to change and air quality throughout the day. I’ve got them spaced out in my two story home and very happy and pleased I got these. These combined with my electromagnetic air filters and blue light in my HVAC unit, I know I am doing their best I can to keep the air in my house clean. Loving it.

My only complaint is, like with MANY companies, app requiring an account to be used which is very annoying. But, the app itself is very nice. You have more fine control of your fan speed, control the brightness of the power indicator, check the level pollution in the air, and more. This is far better for bedroom use than the Levoit 300S I had previously, which, I'm not sure if I just had bad unit or not, is significantly noisier at lowest level.

The room is very minimal with 2 dog-sized beds with washable slip covers. They are washed once a week. I wash the water bowls every day. I did use the electric water bowls, but the gunk and build-up daily were too much, and the filters would become. I also wash their toys once a week. The floor is vac'd once a day & with this Blue Air, I now have no worries for my kitties. Of course, there are windows for fresh air. However, with imposing frigid temperatures, this is so fab! Blessings to all. Fur babies first!

It’s also very functional and a great size to put on the floor. The picture has a 21oz candle next for size comparison. Rather than visiting an allergist or standing up to my dogs, I researched air purifiers. This model, from Blueair, was highly recommended and relatively inexpensive (while still around $300, it was half as much as another model I was looking at). It seems a lot of Amazon reviewers are buying these to combat the wildfire smoke in the West. That's a tall order. But running this in the bedroom every night has eliminated my allergy problems. Amazing. The purifier has three settings. I usually use the lowest setting, on which the fan emits a low hum. It is not distracting at all and may even help me fall asleep. On the topmost setting the fan does make more noise, but I'm not sure you really need to use this setting for extended periods. The machine is about the size of a garbage can so it is non-obtrusive. While it's a bit bulky to move through the house, it's fairly light. I do move it from room to room sometimes when I'm so inclined. It has an outer cloth filter, which I haven't used my purifier for very long, but I can already see the dust on my filter. It needs to go through the wash. We put it through the ultimate test, which was to kill the funky smell in my teenage son's bedroom. You unbox, put the washable outer filter on, you plug it in, and tap front button to turn on to start. Within 15 mins of it being on in my room, immediately I noticed how light and fresh the air is. There’s no unpleasant scent at all other than the new filter smell which doesn’t bother me. After 1 1/2 weeks of using it, this new filter smell is gone and it’s just fresh air. I love it. It gets rid of cooking smells too. I love cooking fresh fish often, and man, this purifier eliminates the odour within an hour compared to 3-4 days of lingering fish smell inside of the house. No more opening windows in the middle of winter just to air out odours. Noise Level is appropriate and can be tolerated. First level of air option is very quiet and almost no noise. Second level option you can hear the fan but sounds like a subtle white noise, Third level of air option, strong fan noise but man it’s very effective! Manoeuverability is easy. I like that the button to turn on the purifier is tap sensitive. The machine could use a nook for the hands on the sides for easier to move from one place to the other. There’s a warning label on top of the machine to carry the machine from the bottom when moving or carrying. The fan on top is connected to the filter at the bottom. There’s a locking mechanism between the two chambers, but I don’t feel it’s a sturdy lock and agrees that it’s safer to carry from the bottom and not from the sides of the machine. Weight is light for younger folks but I don’t recommend grand parents to carry the machine on their own. Overall, amazing air purifier!

You unbox, put the washable outer filter on, you plug it in, and tap front button to turn on to start. Within 15 mins of it being on in my room, immediately I noticed how light and fresh the air is. There’s no unpleasant scent at all other than the new filter smell which doesn’t bother me. After 1 1/2 weeks of using it, this new filter smell is gone and it’s just fresh air. I love it. It gets rid of cooking smells too. I love cooking fresh fish often, and man, this purifier eliminates the odour within an hour compared to 3-4 days of lingering fish smell inside of the house. There’s a warning label on top of the machine to carry the machine from the bottom when moving or carrying. The fan on top is connected to the filter at the bottom. There’s a locking mechanism between the two chambers, but I don’t feel it’s a sturdy lock and agrees that it’s safer to carry from the bottom and not from the sides of the machine. My only complaint is, like with MANY companies, app requiring an account to be used which is very annoying. But, the app itself is very nice. You have more fine control of your fan speed, control the brightness of the power indicator, check the level pollution in the air, and more. This is far better for bedroom use than the Levoit 300S I had previously, which, I'm not sure if I just had bad unit or not, is significantly noisier at lowest level.

The room is very minimal with 2 dog-sized beds with washable slip covers. They are washed once a week. I wash the water bowls every day. I did use the electric water bowls, but the gunk and build-up daily were too much, and the filters would become. I also wash their toys once a week. The floor is vac'd once a day & with this Blue Air, I now have no worries for my kitties. Of course, there are windows for fresh air. However, with imposing frigid temperatures, this is so fab! Amazing. The purifier has three settings. I usually use the lowest setting, on which the fan emits a low hum. It is not distracting at all and may even help me fall asleep. On the topmost setting the fan does make more noise, but I'm not sure you really need to use this setting for extended periods. The machine is about the size of a garbage can so it is non-obtrusive. While it's a bit bulky to move through the house, it's fairly light. I do move it from room to room sometimes when I'm so inclined. We put it through the ultimate test, which was to kill the funky smell in my teenage son's bedroom. My only complaint is, like with MANY companies, app requiring an account to be used which is very annoying. But, the app itself is very nice. You have more fine control of your fan speed, control the brightness of the power indicator, check the level pollution in the air, and more. This is far better for bedroom use than the Levoit 300S I had previously, which, I'm not sure if I just had bad unit or not, is significantly noisier at lowest level.

The room is very minimal with 2 dog-sized beds with washable slip covers. They are washed once a week. I wash the water bowls every day. I did use the electric water bowls, but the gunk and build-up daily were too much, and the filters would become. I also wash their toys once a week. The floor is vac'd once a day & with this Blue Air, I now have no worries for my kitties. Of course, there are windows for fresh air. However, with imposing frigid temperatures, this is so fab! Blessings to all. Fur babies first!

We set it up in our bedroom (~400sq ft) and it’s super helpful to create a schedule through the app that only runs the purifier while we are in the room extending the filter life. It is also one of the quietest purifiers we’ve owned and you’re able to completely turn off all display lights which is very helpful if you like to sleep in a pitch dark room. It’s also very functional and a great size to put on the floor. The picture has a 21oz candle next for size comparison. One of my favorite features is being able to see the quality of your air through the app.

I would come in from outside with red, watery eyes, a runny nose, etc. The allergies grew bad enough that I spent too much time/money on doctors and their prescriptions that didn't help. Then, strangely, the pollen allergies went away and I instead developed indoor allergies to dust and pet dander. We have two "hypoallergenic" dogs that we cannot evacuate from our bed, and I was waking up at three in the morning with allergy symptoms bad enough to keep me from going back to sleep. Rather than visiting an allergist or standing up to my dogs, I researched air purifiers. This model, from Blueair, was highly recommended and relatively inexpensive (while still around $300, it was half as much as another model I was looking at). It seems a lot of Amazon reviewers are buying these to combat the wildfire smoke in the West. That's a tall order. But running this in the bedroom every night has eliminated my allergy problems. Amazing. The purifier has three settings. I usually use the lowest setting, on which the fan emits a low hum. It is not distracting at all and may even help me fall asleep. On the topmost setting the fan does make more noise, but I'm not sure you really need to use this setting for extended periods. The machine is about the size of a garbage can so it is non-obtrusive. While it's a bit bulky to move through the house, it's fairly light. I do move it from room to room sometimes when I'm so inclined. It has an outer cloth filter, which I haven't used my purifier for very long, but I can already see the dust on my filter. It needs to go through the wash. We put it through the ultimate test, which was to kill the funky smell in my teenage son's bedroom. It couldn't quite manage that task (the literature claims it can kill cooking smells, etc.), but for allergens I couldn't be happier. Some reviewers have complained of a strong smell when first using it. I didn't detect anything. I noticed a very mild smell but it was similar to the smell of a hotel room, where I'm sure they also filter the air. What people may be smelling is the smell of clean air. I can't speak to durability since I haven't had the purifier long, but so far I am thrilled with it.

You unbox, put the washable outer filter on, you plug it in, and tap front button to turn on to start. Within 15 mins of it being on in my room, immediately I noticed how light and fresh the air is. There’s no unpleasant scent at all other than the new filter smell which doesn’t bother me. After 1 1/2 weeks of using it, this new filter smell is gone and it’s just fresh air. I love it. It gets rid of cooking smells too. I love cooking fresh fish often, and man, this purifier eliminates the odour within an hour compared to 3-4 days of lingering fish smell inside of the house. No more opening windows in the middle of winter just to air out odours. Noise Level is appropriate and can be tolerated. First level of air option is very quiet and almost no noise. Second level option you can hear the fan but sounds like a subtle white noise, Third level of air option, strong fan noise but man it’s very effective! Manoeuverability is easy. I like that the button to turn on the purifier is tap sensitive. The machine could use a nook for the hands on the sides for easier to move from one place to the other. There’s a warning label on top of the machine to carry the machine from the bottom when moving or carrying. The fan on top is connected to the filter at the bottom. There’s a locking mechanism between the two chambers, but I don’t feel it’s a sturdy lock and agrees that it’s safer to carry from the bottom and not from the sides of the machine. Weight is light for younger folks but I don’t recommend grand parents to carry the machine on their own. Overall, amazing air purifier!

Content: I love these things. I have this larger one and have bought 3 smaller ones. I love the wifi set up and I love the auto setting. Super quiet and then one morning my wife was cooking bacon and the auto kicked in and ramped up to high to clear the air. Tells me the sensors really work and doing their best to keep your air clean. Also gives you status of filter cleanliness and when to change and air quality throughout the day. I’ve got them spaced out in my two story home and very happy and pleased I got these. These combined with my electromagnetic air filters and blue light in my HVAC unit, I know I am doing their best I can to keep the air in my house clean. Loving it.
