Honestly the cheapness kind of added to what we were going for. Made the birthday girl feel like a princess and was picked up in enough time we didn’t have a lawsuit on our hands. Do yourselves a favor and either make sure it’s out of the way when people start dancing/walking around or TAPE IT DOWN GOOOOOOD, it’s no where near heavy enough that it’ll stay put by itself ;)

It comes with stick on tape but We brought extra clear packing tape to secure it a little better. Overall very satisfied with the carpet and would purchase again. Content: The material looks like felt that you use with children in art projects but people are walking on it so it doesn’t really need to look great !!! The material does get caught on concrete which helps it not slip when people walk on it

Content: this came with tape to tape the rug to the ground which we didn’t use because we didn’t want to destroy the venues floors. ended up taking it up a third of the way into the party because every single guest had tripped over it and it was just a matter of time before someone had a nasty fall lol. definitely cheaply made, it’s like a long piece of felt, very lightweight and flimsy, probably wouldn’t look very good in the daytime, but we had a Y2K Scenemo Sweet 16 Rave and under the party lights it looked absolutely incredible. Honestly the cheapness kind of added to what we were going for. Made the birthday girl feel like a princess and was picked up in enough time we didn’t have a lawsuit on our hands. Do yourselves a favor and either make sure it’s out of the way when people start dancing/walking around or TAPE IT DOWN GOOOOOOD, it’s no where near heavy enough that it’ll stay put by itself ;)

The felt is fairly thick but it has no non-slip backing on it, so depending on what surface it's sitting on, it could pose a tripping hazard. It's just plain felt. If you like the idea of a felt "carpet", it might be worth pricing felt at a fabric store to see if it would be more economical to buy felt off a roll, cut to length, since this is essentially the same thing.
