Luckily the chair I'm covering is black, but to me the contrast looks stupid. There is also a space of about 5 inches from where the sewed portion ends and the zipper begins, which shows off the black color underneath the chair. I would have preferred the chair to be completely covered in white, because I'm not going for zebra chairs here, but that's kind of what I have. The other negative is that because the material is a satiny type, it is constantly sliding forward when I get off the chair, so I have to constantly adjust it by pulling the seat portion towards the back of the chair to realign it. Content: This item was one of the few I could find that cover a medium sized chair (about 21 inches high), which is why I purchased it. Plus, the price was right. It looks like a satiny soft polyester fabric and is very comfortable to sit on. I don't know if it's because contrast is popular right now or they wanted to save money on zipper colors, but the zipper is black while the chair cover is white. Luckily the chair I'm covering is black, but to me the contrast looks stupid. There is also a space of about 5 inches from where the sewed portion ends and the zipper begins, which shows off the black color underneath the chair. I would have preferred the chair to be completely covered in white, because I'm not going for zebra chairs here, but that's kind of what I have. The other negative is that because the material is a satiny type, it is constantly sliding forward when I get off the chair, so I have to constantly adjust it by pulling the seat portion towards the back of the chair to realign it. The fabric is not that thick so I'm not sure how long it will last. It will do the job but this isn't my ideal.
