Balancing between luxury and practicality, these towels stand out for their absorbency, softness, and overall aesthetic appeal. Although there are minor drawbacks, such as initial shedding and potential color discrepancies, the advantages far outweigh these concerns, making them a worthy investment for those seeking a touch of elegance without the exorbitant cost associated with designer towel brands. **FAQ** 1. **Are these towels truly as luxurious as hotel towels?** Yes, many customers have compared them favorably to high-end hotel towels like those from Four Seasons. 2. **Do the towels shed a lot of lint?** Initial washes may produce lint, but this tends to reduce significantly with proper care and subsequent washes. 3. **How should I care for these towels?** Follow the care instructions diligently, such as washing on gentle and avoiding fabric softeners to maintain quality. 4. **Why is there a variation in color from the images shown?** Different lighting and screen settings can affect appearance; user feedback suggests some colors, like yellow, may not be as vibrant. 5. **Is the weight of these towels an issue?** The weight adds to their luxurious feel, but they may be considered heavy compared to standard towels. 6. **Are there size options available within the set?** Currently, the set comes pre-packaged with two bath sheets; other options may be limited. 7. **What essential oils work best with these towels?** Eucalyptus, lavender, and mint are popular choices for adding a fresh, spa-like scent. 8. **Can I purchase a matching set in a different color?** Yes, but availability and satisfaction of colors may vary as some reviews indicate color discrepancies. 9. **Will the seams come undone over time?** Some users have reported seam issues; checking upon receiving and handling gently can mitigate this. 10. **Are these towels a good value for the cost?** They are often praised for providing luxurious quality at a relatively affordable price, making them a great value.

Title: Luxurious towels -- non-luxurious price!
Content: These towels are a pretty good imitation of the high GSM towels you’d get at a hotel like the Four Seasons. I recently stayed at The Iroquois in NYC, and we were on the hunt for something that was at least close enough to the incredible Frette towels we were treated to there. These towels are honestly pretty great for the price. You can tell they are manufactured for volume over quality a bit, as they shed and the lint on the first few washes may seem alarming. Still — as long as you stick to the care instructions, they’ll get fluffier, softer, and more absorbent with each wash. I like to use a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil I picked up from a speciality shop on each of my wool dryer balls to get that expensive hotel and spa scent that you’ll immediately recognize. Looking forward to experimenting with other oils like lavender and mint!

Title: Thick, excellent quality
Content: Soft, thick, gorgeous towels worth every penny. I got the purple ones only because that colour was priced cheaper than the other colours. I regret that, because they are extremely dark and it’s a muddy looking purple that looks like dark brown in some lights. I would definitely buy again but would get a different colour.

Title: So soft and absorbant
Content: I already had an identical set (diff color) of these Madison Park towels and absolutely love them. Great quality, thicker, softer and most absorbant towels I've ever had. Just wanted to change color scheme in our bathroom. I purchased an On Sale, highly rated set of different make. They were returned without me opening the package. Color was not even close to description and they were thin and appeared cheaply made. These Madison Park towels are worth every penny. Love the bath sheet size and how soft and thick it is. Same for hand towels and washcloths. The towel feels positively luxurious especially after a long hot shower. You will not be disappointed with these!

Title: Great towel, very pale yellow color though
Content: This is. Fantastic towel. My disappointment is with the poor yellow color. It is almost off white how desaturated this yellow is. Shame, as I hoped for a vibrant yellow to rival its other vibrant colors. I have a set of black and we love them. Luxurious and thick and heavy. Awesome towel. Hate the yellow, sending back to rethink color choice.

Title: Excellent Value
Content: Lovely towel set. Well made. Good quality. No shedding. They are slightly nicer than the Lands End Turkish towels I bought last year. Both brands are thinner than a "signature " one I bought 15 years ago. Still very soft, thick and absorbant. My quests thought they were at a spa. Very good value.

Title: Seam split open on the first washing
Content: A side seam split open on the first washing on two of these Madison Park Signature 800GSM bath towels. The other seams didn't look well made and had loose threads too We bought this Madison Park Signature set at the same time as we bought sample bath towels from Brooklinen, Frontgate, Four Seasons, Land's End, Matouk, Pottery Barn, RH, Turkish Towel Company. We declined to purchase from other hotels, such as St. Regis and Riz-Carlton, because my wife didn't want white towels, although our guest washclothes in the bathroom valet trays are white Ritz-Carlton, and are excellent quality. The Madison Park Signature were the worst of the lot. The Brooklinen, Lands End, and Pottery Barn were excellent value for money and we repurchased more of those. We also bought more of all of the other brands... enough to fill out a 4 piece bundle... because the quality was very good to excellent (at least as good as, and usually better than, the Brooklinen, Lands End, and Pottery Barn bath towels), with the only exception being the Four Seasons which we didn't buy more of. The Four Seasons was the only luxury hotel brand bath towel that we could find in 100% cotton that comes in colors (very nice ones too). Although the quality was excellent and the towels feel substantial, the Four Seasons brand fell a slight bit short of the quality of our favorites in the Frontgate, Matouk, and RH lines, all of which had a nicer hand and slightly fluffier feel than the Four Seasons. What really did the Four Seasons in for us though was the price. We only needed bath towels. So at $230 per set of 2 bath towels, plus some other towel sizes that we didn't want, the Four Seasons were effectively $115 per each towel. Other towels at 50% less than the price of the Four Seasons, seemed to be as good as, or better quality. If you could get value out of the all of the towels in the set, and could find them at a 25% discount, then you might think differently than we do about the Four Seasons towels. For us they're excellent (but pricey) towels standing in a crowded field of excellent competitors, some of which are 5 or 10% better at 50% less cost. And finally, the Four Seasons towels were stylishly trimmed, as were the Turkish Towel Company, and Pottery Barn. These all had some pizzaz to them. My wife also really liked the Frontgate trim, while I liked the trim on that one a bit less than she did. I thought the Brooklinen and Land's End had a slight bit of a classical trim touch to them, although Pottery Barn was mine and my wife's favorite trim. Trim was the least important category to us as none of the towels was kept or discarded based on trim. The Lands End are on Black Friday sale at the moment for $19 each, and we stocked up on three (3) more bundles of those. The Brooklinen are available here on Amazon, and we just ordered a few more of those with a 25% discount for $33 each. We bought the other models, whose prices I didn't previously mention, for about $34 to $54 each, plus S&H. Others may know of lower prices and better deals and products. If so, I hope they comment too.

Title: Thick, Soft, & Fluffy
Content: These are by far the best towels I have ever purchased. I am already looking at other colors for my other bathroom. The color is beautiful, and they are very thick & soft. They leave a good amount of lint in the dryer, but I have had no problems getting them dry or with lint left on my skin after showering. I feel they absorb very well, unlike some other reviewers. I will definitely buy more of these!

Title: Thick fluffy towels that absorb well, Madison Park Signature
Content: I bought the Madison Park Signature towel in a deep chocolate brown and am happy with them. They are think, fluffy and absorbent as advertised. You feel you can sink into these towels. The bath towels are nice and large. Our last towels had gotten somewhat thread-bare after 15years of use, and I wanted to treat us to something more luxurious -- these fit the bill. My only issue is I didn't want the 4 facecloths that came with it. I would love an option of being able to pick the number of towels I'd like and what size. I feel limited having to buy a set. (I also wanted a set of red towels, but this company didn't offer that. I ordered from a different company and they aren't as nice as these.) If you read this review under a different product, that's not my fault as this platform seems to copy and reuse reviews elsewhere. It's why I mention the name of the product in the review.

Title: coming apart already
Content: I bought these towels in early May, and after washing them a half dozen times, the seams are coming apart. Disappointing.
