Those big thick ones don't absorb as well, and it takes way too long in the dryer. These appear to be regular old cotton terrycloth. they have a nice binding pattern on the ends. Content: I got the "Turquoise Blue" version and the color is BEAUTIFUL! :D! These are fine for what I needed but I wouldn't call them "Oversized, Ultra Soft and Highly Absorbant." They are very thin and while soft they aren't "ultra" soft. I would never use these after a shower. I got them for using at the gym to cover equipment so my bare skin doesn't touch it and for folding to use as a cushion on some things. Them being thin works great since they don't take up as much space in my gym bag. They did wash well - I didn't get lint all over anything I washed with them and the lint catcher for the dryer had blue lint but wasn't completely full. Our regular bath towels cost about twice as much (2 pack of these are currently $12.99) but are also 3 or 4 times thicker.

They came in and are so very thin you can stare straight through them barely holding them up, piling them all on top of each other on a rack and just using a towel rack but those are absolutely not bath towels. Not impressed, decorative and scatchy thin at best. If you just want something that's a hard to find color for decoration ....fine. It's nothing like the photo though.
