However I’m happy to say that since I bought it it’s still there and hasn’t budged! I’ve been careful to try not to lean on it or knock it too hard, but it’s definitely not in a low traffic area and has stood up to me using both the sink and the hand towel every day, many times multiple times a day. It seemed flimsy to start but I’m glad to be proven wrong! Updating my review from 2-4 stars I bought this towel bar to stick in front of my sink to hang a hand towel on. The bar itself is not very sturdy, so I definitely don’t recommend using it on anything with significant weight to it. It works fine for something light like one hand towel, but because of the way it’s designed to mount onto the wall, any amount of downward force will dislodge the bar. There are two clear plastic mounts that are designed for you to stick the command strips to the wall. Then once those are stuck on, you can mount the bar on by pressing it on and sliding up to clip into the plastic. Problem is, since you are sliding UP, any amount of downwards pressure causes it to become unclipped and fall off. I actually had to remove the whole thing and start over with new command strips in order to flip the whole thing upside down, that way it doesn’t fall off at the slightest tug. It honestly would’ve just been easier if it had been designed in a way that you can just adhere the bar directly to the sink.
