Despite its few drawbacks like potential suction wear over time, its benefits of adaptability, affordability, and easy maintenance make it a worthwhile investment for any bath lover. As a bath essential or a thoughtful gift, it promises a deeper, more satisfying soak, transforming ordinary bathtubs into a spa-like oasis. **FAQ** 1. **How does the SlipX Solutions Bottomless Bath work?** It suctions securely over the overflow drain of a bathtub, allowing the water to fill several inches higher without spilling over. 2. **Is it easy to install and remove?** Yes, it's designed for effortless installation and removal, using suction cups to stay in place and release easily. 3. **How do I clean the overflow drain cover?** The cover can be cleaned by hand or placed in a dishwasher. Regular cleaning helps prevent mold buildup. 4. **Will it fit all types of bathtubs?** It is designed to fit most standard tubs, but may not perfectly cover all irregularly shaped or custom-sized tubs. 5. **What is the lifespan of this product?** With regular use and proper care, it can last over a year, though suction cups might lose their effectiveness over time. 6. **Can it handle a high water fill in the tub?** While it allows a higher water level for a better soak, excessively overfilling the tub is not recommended due to potential overflow via the top opening. 7. **Does it affect how quickly the tub drains?** No, it primarily impacts the water height during use rather than drainage speed. 8. **Is there a risk of damaging my tub with this product?** When used correctly, it shouldn't damage your tub, but ensure it’s correctly placed to prevent water from seeping into unwanted areas. 9. **Can I still use bath products like bubble bath with it?** Yes, you can use your favorite bath products without any issue while using the cover. 10. **Does it make the tub quieter during use?** Yes, many users notice reduced noise from the overflow drain thanks to its soft, noise-dampening material.

Title: Works surprisingly well
Content: When I opened this package, I was skeptical this product would work for the duration of my bath. It stuck on easily, for right over my drain cover, and worked the whole time. When it was time to finish, it removed easily. Would definitely recommend

Title: Works great!
Content: This cover had no trouble staying stuck in place around the overflow drain. It really allows you to fill the tub up! One word of caution: if you fill the tub before you get in, be sure you leave enough room for the water displacement when you get in. I underestimated mine!

Title: Works great
Content: I have an old tub, which has always made it hard to take a bath because the drain was so low that the water would be below my hips. This cover has made it so that I can get the water up high enough for a comfortable warm bath. The hole at the top still allows water to drain slowly if it gets too super high.

Title: This is a gem I wasn’t aware even existing.
Content: The media could not be loaded. fortunate to run across this item randomly perhaps because of my purchase of so many bags of teals Epson salts?!? I have a 77 y/o friend who takes a tub bath daily. Having just moved from a home and master bath with a Kohler 100 year anniversary bath tub with 24 karat gold plated hardware and red enamel for the tub she never had to worry about water overflow. In her new garden home she has a tub similar to a traditional tub and was finding that even as a petite woman water would escape either through the overflow valve when she submerged completely or at times the water would overflow the sides of her tub. When I saw this item on Amazon I thought what a cool idea because it’s kind of a battle if your water that you have gotten to the right temperature and you’ve got Epson salts or sometimes I prefer vita bath and it’s all going through the overflow valve or over the edge of the tub and the temperature of the existing water then is lowering so I then would find myself turning the hot water back on and that seemed like a waste on many levels. For Christmas I bought her one and I bought one for myself. She raves about hers and I know that I love mine and it’s made the whole management of water temperature and water conservation and water integrity so much easier to keep constant and efficient. The suction power is certainly more than adequate, I have not ever experienced nor has my friend mentioned it having come off the tub surface and it’s very easy to pull off and I just run mine through the dishwasher or you can put it to the clothes washer or just clean it by hand using some spray cleaner. It doesn’t leave a ring of dirt in anyway and in general it’s a simple apparatus that provides 2 to 3 inches approximately of additional hot water during my bath, Who would’ve thought two or 3 inches of additional water would make such a difference but for me it does. I also like that the overflow valve or opening at the top of the rubber cover is going to catch any water that might overflow the sides of the tub and onto the floor. On one occasion, there is room for play with the placement of the suction cups I attached the section cups as high as Possible while still covering the built-in overflow valve and my spouse who was in the basement doing laundry underneath the tub so water coming through the floor of the bathroom so it is possible to place it too high but that was a one time occurrence and I learn my lesson so I don’t push it to the max any longer because I’m not ready to tear out this bathroom yet. So if you’ve got a standard size tub if there is such a thing, as I mention mine is out of circa 1979 tub I don’t know the measurements but I’m not sure it really matters because your experience is based on your body size and the size of your own tub so you’ll just have to play with it to find that place of equilibrium between keeping the hot water in the tub, keeping the hot water in the tub and allowing the overflow to flow through the opening at the top of the suction cup cover so that it flows out of the standard overflow valve or you can create that infinity pool you’ve always wanted! Easy to do that by just letting the water flow over the edge of the tub until your spouse comes up and screams at you! Each one is an exciting option and I hope should you choose to make a five dollar investment in this item you will receive whatever you’ve paid back 100 fold by having less variables related to water temperature and stress less bathtime all to yourself for many years to come! Buy one of these. There are a few things in life are five dollars I have found to solve as many problems as this item, I should put a disclaimer, in this home comfort category. A pint of Ben & Jerry’s on sale is generally less than five dollars and I also enjoy that very much. I’ve also found really good beer available for less than five dollars and I’ve enjoyed that as well but both of those are short-lived and this apparatus lives on and on and on and is worth every penny! I’ve also learned in making my first Amazon video attached with this review that my tub really needs to be recaulked! It’s really embarrassing to make this available to fellow Amazonians The condition of my bathtub caulking! I will be much more cautious in the future of being critical of some of the videos I’ve watched and thought to myself, how did you ever let your shower door gather that much gonna call Annette or your shower door glass accumulate so much soap scum! I think or hope my experience with videoing my tub will make me a better person and less judging or not judging of my fellow man’s cleanliness processes! So many wins! May God bless you, your tub experience, and your tub caulking as well as the condition of your tub faucet hardware which I’m now just realizing also needs probably replacing!

Title: It works!
Content: This product works exactly as it is designed to work - suctions securely to my oval shaped tub around the overflow drain, and allows me to fill the tub several inches fuller than without it which gives a nicer soaking experience. I’ve used it twice and had no leaking. Also removes easily, which I do after use so that it can dry out and not end up mildewed. UPDATE: Three months of light use and the suction cups are falling off. I've used it maybe 8 or 10 times total, and some of those times I ended up just leaving it in place rather than pulling it off the tub to set aside to dry like I did at first, so there hasn't been excessive pulling on them. It's no longer usable because the suction cups that have already fallen off are the ones along the bottom of the cover, so it doesn't seal water out along the bottom edge. Work so well initially, but just did not last.

Title: REVIEW AFTER 1 YEAR & 4 MONTHS OF USE - YAY!!
Content: We have had this overflow drain cover for 1 year and 4 months. I purchased this to allow the water in our tub to fill higher than the installed tub overflow drain while I was pregnant. From the first use, it has worked very, very well. Occasionally it would get a black mold growth starting to grow between uses and I found a very easy solution - I throw it in the washing machine with my load of towels and it comes out clean! It wasn't until recently that two of the suction cups started to invert and would not be corrected, allowing enough water through for it to slowly drain. I am finally deciding to throw this one in the trash and order another one! For the cost of this, I would say that 1 year and 4 months of use is a great buy! Highly recommend!!!

Title: Works like a charm!
Content: This product works exactly as intended. It fits around my backup drain just fine and works perfectly even though there isn’t enough space above my drain to suction above it. I love that the backup hole can be turned to fit your needs as this makes it work in baths of all different shapes. It also quiets the sound of the backup drain in my tub when it does have enough water to drain out. The material is soft and squishy, so you won’t hurt yourself if you kick it on accident. I’ve been in my bath for over an hour with no sealing issues. How it holds up over time is yet to be seen, but I can confirm that this works and I am very happy with the product.

Content: This is fantastic, my family loves this drain stopper! It's my second one due to wear and I can't say anything but good things about this stopper. Buy it and thank me later! So it can be used in any tub. It installs over the top overflow drain with suction cups located around the plug. With a safety feature on the top with a open area for water to drain due to overfill. Fill the tub to the top and actually get to soak in a full tub without the annoying sound of the water draining away when it gets close to full. It's a must have in my house my whole family enjoys having a deep full bath and the cost makes it very easy to replace as needed. Long lasting and worth every penny great idea and I can't go without one now. Great idea love this stopper!!!

Title: Brilliant product
Content: Needed to add extra depth to my bath so brought this product. It's extremely simple to use. Just put it in place, press down on thr suction points and job done. Very good suction and a tight seal to the bath. Added a good 3 or 4 inches to bath depth. Would highly recommend this product. Would be great if it was a tad cheaper.

Title: amazing idea how did i go without it for so long?!

Content: This cover had no trouble staying stuck in place around the overflow drain. It really allows you to fill the tub up! One word of caution: if you fill the tub before you get in, be sure you leave enough room for the water displacement when you get in. I underestimated mine!

Title: Works well
Content: Works really well for about a year, then the suction cups start getting stuck inside out and it no longer works, but given the price it’s absolutely worth it.

Title: amazing idea how did i go without it for so long?!
