Content: We purchased the 2 pack in white and were unsure if it would work for us. Well, lo, and behold, we said 'where the heck has this been all our lives?' We use the both mats in the bathroom. One is used for when we get out of the shower and the other in front of the sink to absorb any water. Appreciate that they don't get smelly or grow yucky stuff. The stone absorbs the water and if anything else spills on them, we just get a cloth and wipe it up. Will be ordering a second set for the second bathroom.

Content: I didn’t know the industry made these kind of products for the household as well. I know that diatomaceous earth is used as a pesticide because I have used it in the past to kill an invasion of ants inside my home. These specific set of mats are made out of diatomaceous stone, a product that helps with the removal of unwanted material from drinking water, absorbs water quickly from surfaces, and cleans up spills. The mat to my surprise is quite large and of considerable size. It also comes with 4 round cork pads to prevent the mat moving from its place. It also includes two round black sandpaper for each mat to polish them overtime or whenever it needs to be cleaned. One thing I found quite interesting is that it’s comfortable to step on with your feet. My first impression before opening the package was since this mat is made out of stone I was going to find it unpleasant to step on with your feet due to the firm and solid texture. I have never tried any other bathmat made out of a different material other than the traditional bathroom rug mat sets. We all know those are more soft to the touch but you have to constantly throw them in the washer to have them cleaned up. The reason why I took out one star is that even after drying quickly and absorbing the water it leaves the mat with water stains. Not a big deal though. Overall, if you’re looking into trying out a new type of bathroom mat I highly recommend giving this one a shot.

Content: We recently brought a new puppers into our household after losing our beloved Dug. Dugger was a golden doodle who had one heck of a run making it 14 years and being completely awesome for all of them. Didn’t want a new dog but then my wife found this ad with Henry who is another golden doodle. Where I’m going with this…..Henry is a wee bit of a messy drinker (okay for real there must be a hole in his mouth or something cuz he can’t keep water in for anything) so we decided to use one of the mats for under his water bowl. It is working awesomely. He still dribbs some when he is walking away but the majority of his spills are right in front of the watering hole and this may really makes it much better. Henry got the mat with the heart in it because we love him soooo much (ok so for real here, that’s what we told him but the real reason is because I didn’t really like the heart on the mat so we took the marble looking one for the out of the shower bath mat as it looked better to us). The heart one was good just not my thing. The marble looking one in front of our shower exit works just as well as Henry’s but is getting tested to a bigger degree than Mr. Dribble Mouth (Henry) and so far it is holding up. No complaints at this point (other than the heart but that’s a me thing). If anything goes south over time I will update my review but for now I would recommend these to my friends without hesitation.

Content: This is a very absorbent bath mat, but I was not prepared for it to be totally stiff! I thought that the 'stone' part was just a name or gimmick... it is rock solid (need to pay more attention to the product descriptions in the future). I had to change my habit of staying in the shower area for dripping dry to now stepping out; a real deal change! And I love it. It seems to be a bit hard to clean (no more putting the bath mat in the washing machine! but I'm still learning and finding the best way to do it. One thing that has me worried is that it has a set of corks on the bottom to raise it from the floor, but if I step on the edge of the mat, the whole thing becomes airborne from the lever action; I wish the corks went all the way to the edge of the mat; I'm worried of breaking it from stepping in the wrong area. Would certainly recommend.
