Content: I loved the thought of getting these installed. I took a chance installing these under a King size Sleep Number bed. 8 legs so 2 sets needed. I was concerned with side to side and head to foot stability, so I made an orientation change. Each riser is rotated 45 degrees to the sides and head/foot to give that little added stability. This way, the corners are helping to protect against fall-off. A picture is added to show this. If you are doing this by yourself, use a floor jack to support each pair of legs. Place jack as close to center between each leg and raise/lower slowly. Also, make sure the original legs are as tight as possible. When lowering, recheck the placement to get the riser as close to center because the jack will cause the placement to drift. Do not try to lift with your back - bad move!!! Each set has the electrical/USB connections so each side at the head end gets that. I have not tried if it activates fast charging but I would plug them in for overnight charge and not worry about it. I will update this later if I remember to. ;-) All in all, the are sturdy enough for me!!! Good luck to everyone!

Content: I bought these to lift my daughter’s dorm bed up as there is very little space in her dorm room. We used the 3 inch set on her bed and the 2 inch set on her roommates bed. Both girls were able to put their small dressers under their beds along with other shelving and bins. They seem quite sturdy and we will most likely use them again next year.

Content: They're plastic. I had them for a month before I was able to get my king-size bed up on them. I had some wood to support the middle of the bed, and the risers on the four corners. After a month, the ones under the head of the bed collapsed completely. My son and I were able to cobble together some random pieces of wood to replace the broken ones, because I still really like the outlets. At this point it's more like an expensive extension cord than cheap bed supports. For the record, I'm single and I don't move around much. I hug the edge of the bed when I sleep, and use the rest of the bed for purse and pets. Altogether no more than 500lbs at any time and neither I nor the pets jump on the bed. There was no real reason for these to break except for poor construction. I know I'm not skinny, that's why I got the "heavy duty" ones. But they are not sturdy or durable. As for stability, the base really needs to be wider, too. I always felt like my bad was on the verge of tipping over.
