They’re meant to go from top to bottom and not be folded back. The ruffles at the top just shine as they gracefully lay across the edges of the mattress. The ribboned pillow cases with gingham backing are just too adorable. They add such a sweet look. Tie them into perfect little bows for the vintage feminine touch. The pillow shams...I can’t even. They zip closed, which is wonderful, but they also have such pretty frilly detail. I hesitated on buying these sheets because Amazon failed to deliver them and instead sent them back to the warehouse instead of bringing them to me. I found them on Amazon but decided to check out the FadFay website, and I’m SO glad I did! Everything is as beautiful as these sheets! I ordered a rose rug that matches them, and it grips the carpet well and is beautifully made. The items do ship from China, so expect about a month’s wait from order to delivery, but the rugs, comforter, and sheets were SO worth the wait! I want to buy the French green ones from Amazon next! Content: Oh! These sheets are 100% cotton and are so much better than any sheets sold in stores anywhere! I washed them and dried them the same way as my other sheets and they came out so soft. Yes they wrinkle but if you don't like wrinkled sheets, buy the cheap poly cotton ones. Or, if you're really anal about wrinkles in your sheets, then iron them. I sleep in only 100% cotton or linen and the wrinkles have never detracted from the look of the finished bed. And I love the look of a beautiful bed. Cotton wrinkles- its the nature of cotton. Once out of the dryer, give them a good shake or dry them on the line. I use woll dryer balls so maybe that eliminated the wrinkle problem Once you put them on the bed, the wrinkles smooth out. The colors and pattern are beautiful. Its very hard to find beautiful floral patterned sheets any more. The top sheet is a bit of a puzzle. I know bedding in Europe is different than in the US ( most people use a covered duvet as the top sheet), so maybe these sheets are fashioned in a culturally different way, which is okay. I haven't put them on my bed yet because I bought another set from the same seller which was the first one out of the dryer, but these Bulgaria rose sheets are absolutely beautiful, so perfect for the "shabby chic" look. I love everything about these sheets. I had never heard of this company before and was a little hesitant to buy from them wondering if the sheets would be cheap, but it turns out the sheets are high quality, well made, and absolutely gorgeous.

Content: Bought two sets of these. (see brown comforter for washed set). I use queen size on a queen size bed. Without washing, these sheets are fairly large on bed (yellow comforter). After washing they are perfect size. Haven't washed pillow cases - beware pillow case is made with "pocket" flap so pillow wont slip out. If it shrinks too much I'll just put contrasting fabric on opening. They also have a strange piping around the fitted sheet edge. I haven't seen fitted sheets made this way, but it works. The piping is very small and unnoticeable. I love the colors and the feel (nice and crisp). You don't get tangled up in these sheets (unless you want to!). The patterns are just like the picture. HIGHLY recommend these if your looking for crisp, cotton, somewhat no wrinkle sheet (see pics).

The flat sheet does not have the typical top border but I kind of like that, as when you are dealing with 100% cotton, it is usually all wrinkled anyway. I like the pillow cases..they are detailed like shams, so the pillows stay put. Really like that feature. I was hoping for a "crisper" sheet, but they are still lovely and soft.
