Content: I like everything about these coverlets. The weight is, as advertised, "all season". The craftmanship is excellent. All the stitching is perfect, yet it has almost a handmade look to it somehow. The colors were exactly as they looked in the photo as seen on my laptop. I also like the different textures of the fabric bands. The navy blue back side has lovely white top stitching. I would say it's well worth the price for this quality.

Content: I was disappointed that the item was not accompanied by matching shams. I went ahead and bought what I though was the matching shams for an addition $50.00. Actually, I purchased "A" sham for 50 dollars, almost the price of the quilted comforter itself. I will have to spend an additional $50.00 for the other sham, after a $140.00 for the comforter and one sham it is too late to turn back now. If you purchase this item be prepared to lay out just under $200.00 if you want to complete the look. I would not buy this item again for that reason. I can get complete comforter sets for well under this price.

The BIGGEST reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the material is pourous, meaning, it is pilling up a bit and I have little threads all over the place. For a new quilt, and because I don't sleep on top of it, I find it's lacking a bit in quality to be pilling already. I don't remember ever having a quilt that pills. For the money, it is okay to use in-between washings or to have a bit of a change, but I do not think it will last through many washings.. I did wash it, and it was easy to wash, so it's an average quilt.

Actually, I purchased "A" sham for 50 dollars, almost the price of the quilted comforter itself. I will have to spend an additional $50.00 for the other sham, after a $140.00 for the comforter and one sham it is too late to turn back now. If you purchase this item be prepared to lay out just under $200.00 if you want to complete the look. I would not buy this item again for that reason. I can get complete comforter sets for well under this price.
