Title: Lightweight and soft, perfect for summer
Content: I needed something lightweight for summer to replace the heavy comforter I had been using and this bedspread is perfect. It's very soft and breathable, with a lovely vintage look. I didn't want it to drag on the floor so I ordered the full size for my queen bed and it fits perfectly for my taste. After minimal shrinkage from being washed and dried on high heat, it reaches about 4" from the floor, allowing the dark wood bedframe to show through fringed ends and creating a lovely contrast. This bedspread is 100% cotton as advertised. I bought the white in order to custom dye it to match my bedroom and it dyed beautifully. It does shed quite a bit in the wash, but I've not had any problems with lint on my bed. After 3 times through the washer and dryer, it has only become softer and cozier each time. I could not be any happier with the look, fit, and feel of this beautiful bedspread.

When I washed it the first time, there were chunks of fabric all over in my washer, and after it was dried, I ran it again in the dryer on air several times, and the lint filter was full every time. Since I've washed it, I can't return it, but I don't think I'll be using it after all. Disappointed. I've always wanted a chenille bedspread, and I thought this would be the one, because it was described as soft, but it's not.

I didn't want it to drag on the floor so I ordered the full size for my queen bed and it fits perfectly for my taste. After minimal shrinkage from being washed and dried on high heat, it reaches about 4" from the floor, allowing the dark wood bedframe to show through fringed ends and creating a lovely contrast. This bedspread is 100% cotton as advertised. I bought the white in order to custom dye it to match my bedroom and it dyed beautifully. It does shed quite a bit in the wash, but I've not had any problems with lint on my bed. After 3 times through the washer and dryer, it has only become softer and cozier each time. I could not be any happier with the look, fit, and feel of this beautiful bedspread.
