It was tightly rolled and incased in a zippered clear plastic case (just like a real sausage!). Once out of the plastic case, the vacuum packed seal was cut open. Taking the tag team approach to the now hash brown patty-like pillow we pulled it out of the casing only to witness an almost miracle...the Vie-een-ah sausage cum hash brown patty was now slowly morphing into a giant rectangular marshmallow! WOW! If Jet-Puffed or Campfire could see this they would turn green with envy! With some pumping, pulling, patting, and poofing the giant marshmallow pillow began to take form. But as recommended, I let it rest about 36 hours before a night time taste test. It works like a dream, but at its present new state is a bit on the too fluffy side. I imagine though after my being accustomed to a much flatter pillow, both the pillow and me will adapt just fine with a little time. This 20x54 polyester, customizable memory foam body pillow offers great support for the short as well as the tall. The pillow is described as being hypoallergenic. The cubes of memory foam can be moved around to offer greater support where needed or wanted. It is firm but not so tightly packed as to preclude softness. Content: I read reviews were people said the pillow was understuffed. When you take the pillow out of the shrink packaging it may appear understuffed. But I read the instructions to tug and pull on the pillow to fluffin it up and let the filling expand. I did as it said and I let the pillow sit like the instructions said. After about 8 hours the pillow expanded. It expanded so much that it was too big so I took some of the stuffing out and put it in an extra pillow I had (a small head pillow) and put some more in the bag it came in to the desired width that I wanted. I had no issues with the pillow and I enjoy using it at night when I sleep. As for firmness, it is firm if you keep all the stuffing inside. Even with me removing some of the stuffing it is still firm enough for me. I believe as long as it comes in the original packaging you shouldn't have an issue with it being understuffed. Now returned pillows being resold, I can't speak for that.

Since the instructions indicated it would take 1-2 days for the foam to reach its full size I was patient but skeptical. I'm happy to report that after 2 days it filled out the rest of the pillow and there was a perfect amount of foam inside. Its quite comfortable and a great addition for any side sleeper.

Content: I read reviews were people said the pillow was understuffed. When you take the pillow out of the shrink packaging it may appear understuffed. But I read the instructions to tug and pull on the pillow to fluffin it up and let the filling expand. I did as it said and I let the pillow sit like the instructions said. After about 8 hours the pillow expanded. It expanded so much that it was too big so I took some of the stuffing out and put it in an extra pillow I had (a small head pillow) and put some more in the bag it came in to the desired width that I wanted. I had no issues with the pillow and I enjoy using it at night when I sleep. As for firmness, it is firm if you keep all the stuffing inside. Even with me removing some of the stuffing it is still firm enough for me. I believe as long as it comes in the original packaging you shouldn't have an issue with it being understuffed. Now returned pillows being resold, I can't speak for that.

Taking the tag team approach to the now hash brown patty-like pillow we pulled it out of the casing only to witness an almost miracle...the Vie-een-ah sausage cum hash brown patty was now slowly morphing into a giant rectangular marshmallow! WOW! If Jet-Puffed or Campfire could see this they would turn green with envy! With some pumping, pulling, patting, and poofing the giant marshmallow pillow began to take form. But as recommended, I let it rest about 36 hours before a night time taste test. It works like a dream, but at its present new state is a bit on the too fluffy side. I imagine though after my being accustomed to a much flatter pillow, both the pillow and me will adapt just fine with a little time. This 20x54 polyester, customizable memory foam body pillow offers great support for the short as well as the tall. The pillow is described as being hypoallergenic. During the nights I have used this my back, head, and knees have all whispered a collective "thank you" in the morning. In order to alleviate any humps of bumps in the foam distribution, I still need more usage time. Thus far, I am quite please with this pillow and can recommend it without reservation. But I read the instructions to tug and pull on the pillow to fluffin it up and let the filling expand. I did as it said and I let the pillow sit like the instructions said. After about 8 hours the pillow expanded. It expanded so much that it was too big so I took some of the stuffing out and put it in an extra pillow I had (a small head pillow) and put some more in the bag it came in to the desired width that I wanted. I had no issues with the pillow and I enjoy using it at night when I sleep. As for firmness, it is firm if you keep all the stuffing inside. Even with me removing some of the stuffing it is still firm enough for me. I believe as long as it comes in the original packaging you shouldn't have an issue with it being understuffed. Now returned pillows being resold, I can't speak for that.
