Title: The best brand in my opinion
Content: Out of all of the book nook I've made, this brand is my favorite. I love how easy to read the manual is. The quality of the wood is awesome! I was able to use a small hammer and didn't have to worry about damaging the little pieces. It looks so awesome with my other book nook. I ordered another one and can't wait to get going on that one. Such a fun project to do. I am totally hooked.

Content: This book nook was exactly as described. The directions were very simple to read and follow. My kit went together very well, little if any glue was needed, which was supplied. I usually have trouble with the lighting but with this kit I had none! It didn't take long to assemble, but was enough of a challenge to make it really fun. Some pluses to this kit were the tools that came with it, i.e. glue, file, small tweezers, small squares of tape as well as all the little gold chains and tiny skulls that really make this kit "pop"! And a big plus was all the extra tiny pieces that can be difficult to remove - were included on a separate wood sheet.

There are a couple major quality of life components that are a big deal for me: 1) Pieces being tight enough to snap together correctly. This is HUGE, some of these kits the pieces fit so loosely you have to glue everything individually (the one from a variety of sellers titled Library of Books is the worst, avoid at all costs) which adds to the assembly time but only makes it more frustrating instead of more fun. 2) Stickers vs paper. I may be in the minority here, but I really love having the cut out stickers. The first instruction on many book nook kits is to assemble X number of books. I take great joy in popping out the components and sanding down the edges that need it. Without the stickers you have to meticulously cut out each little book cover and paste them onto the books. I feel like I never the get the perfect straight edges I want, and the stickers are a quality of life add that makes my finished product look better. 3) Dust covers. It is just completely unrealistic to me that dust covers are not considered essential to these kits. Having one on your shelf for any length of time without a dust cover starts to look horrible - you cannot dust inside that, you cannot use an air compressor to blow it out without mass destruction, all bad solutions. This kit has everything I wanted. Full assembly time was in the neighborhood of 15 hours because I take my time and enjoy sanding down edges. Plus, the Harry Potter theming was really good. Honestly, cannot recommend this kit enough.

I have about half a tube still left.

Content: I really liked making this Magic Book Nook. The pieces were easy to remove from the wood holder, were easy to organize and they included glue and tweezers!! They do give you some extra pieces in case you break one. Unfortunately for me the pieces I broke (2) did not have an “extra”. I did manage to glue them or alter them to work. This would be a great gift for anyone who likes to be kept busy. It looks great on my bookshelf. This was so worth the price.

Content: I enjoy putting these model projects together. I have done a bunch of them at this point. There are a couple major quality of life components that are a big deal for me: 1) Pieces being tight enough to snap together correctly. This is HUGE, some of these kits the pieces fit so loosely you have to glue everything individually (the one from a variety of sellers titled Library of Books is the worst, avoid at all costs) which adds to the assembly time but only makes it more frustrating instead of more fun. 2) Stickers vs paper. I may be in the minority here, but I really love having the cut out stickers. The first instruction on many book nook kits is to assemble X number of books. I take great joy in popping out the components and sanding down the edges that need it. Without the stickers you have to meticulously cut out each little book cover and paste them onto the books. I feel like I never the get the perfect straight edges I want, and the stickers are a quality of life add that makes my finished product look better. 3) Dust covers. It is just completely unrealistic to me that dust covers are not considered essential to these kits. Having one on your shelf for any length of time without a dust cover starts to look horrible - you cannot dust inside that, you cannot use an air compressor to blow it out without mass destruction, all bad solutions. This kit has everything I wanted. Full assembly time was in the neighborhood of 15 hours because I take my time and enjoy sanding down edges. Plus, the Harry Potter theming was really good. Honestly, cannot recommend this kit enough.

Don’t have to go buy those things. The finished product is amazing. I have 0 complaints with this. Tip - I found it easier for the smaller / thin pieces, to sand the tab down and just glue it in, versus trying to force the tab in and breaking it (chandelier was a main one). You get plenty of glue. I have about half a tube still left.

I was able to use a small hammer and didn't have to worry about damaging the little pieces. It looks so awesome with my other book nook. I ordered another one and can't wait to get going on that one. I usually have trouble with the lighting but with this kit I had none! It didn't take long to assemble, but was enough of a challenge to make it really fun. Some pluses to this kit were the tools that came with it, i.e. glue, file, small tweezers, small squares of tape as well as all the little gold chains and tiny skulls that really make this kit "pop"!
