I'm able to lean Nerf guns against the upright side without the book ends tipping. I also used these in my freezer door to keep bags of breast milk from falling through the gaps in the shelving. The film comes with a sticker on it that I thought was meant to help lift the film off the book end. Pulling on it just peeled the sticker off and the film stayed. I was able to easily peel the film off but my husband doesn't have much for fingernails and he struggled to get the film off. The depth is nice and these are pretty sturdy. I'm able to lean Nerf guns against the upright side without the book ends tipping. I also used these in my freezer door to keep bags of breast milk from falling through the gaps in the shelving. I dropped a couple when rearranging in the freezer and I thought for sure the cold plastic would shatter on impact but not a single crack. Also after the film is removed the book ends are really clear. I'd absolutely but these again if I thought of another need.

Content: I wanted bookends that are unobtrusive for my bookshelves. These are perfect! They are crystal clear. They came with a protective film so they are pristine. No scratches, etc. They came with little anti-slip pads to keep them in place. Really happy with this purchase!

Content: I love the simplicity of the product and the grip stickers help to keep them in place. They do the job well and offer a neat, clean, floating look on the bookshelf. Only downside is I ordered an 8 pack and 2 of the pieces were cracked on the bottom (pictured in review). Also you do have to put the grip stickers on yourself. Not a big deal though! Would recommend this product just check them in case they are cracked.

Content: These bookends were described as clear...they are anything but. Off white acrylic, not clear. And I certainly wouldn't want them on my bookshelves. Returned. EDIT: My mistake, I did not remove both sides of the paper on them. They are clear and look fine. SO sorry for jumping the gun! I will not be returning these.
