Content: I've used this black Wilton brand fondant for years now. I feel that it is well pigmented and easy to work with and is consistently good. I have never had an issue with the black color fading after the fondant sits on the cake for 24 hours+ either, like some others that I have worked with in the past. Highly recommend.

It will dry out fairly quickly compared to some of the other brands I've used, which is a benefit only if you're sculpting with it and need figures or flowers to "set up" faster, especially if you add Tylose powder, it's actually an inexpensive alternative to purchasing separate gumpaste. Flavor is just okay for me; colors are very pigmented and vibrant. Takes airbrush really well without a lot a beading. Good elasticity but not great for holding really intricate details , ( sculpted or embossed ) , or blending seams like with modeling chocolate, or brands like Fondarific .
