The first thing I looked at when opening the box was the size of the screen - it's good, quite good, and a swallow will not fit in the openings. I doubt a hummingbird would. The construction seems good, and the price was very good compared to a not-as-nice and more expensive one I looked at from Lowes. Happy with the appearance, construction, shipping box, and all around. Let's see if it installs well.

Content: Birds are nesting in my current cap, so I have to replace it. I'm getting to old to climb on the roof, so I'm having a handyman do it for me. The first thing I looked at when opening the box was the size of the screen - it's good, quite good, and a swallow will not fit in the openings. I doubt a hummingbird would. The construction seems good, and the price was very good compared to a not-as-nice and more expensive one I looked at from Lowes. Happy with the appearance, construction, shipping box, and all around. Let's see if it installs well.

Content: The product isnt the highest quality in the world, for sure, but it's 100% not 'made of tin foil' or 'going to break in the first wind' as I'd feared. It was solid enough, undamaged, and just what I needed.

Content: Came well packaged to prevent shipping damage. It comes with wimpy gloves and some stupid tool. Kinda flimsy. Would not fit my chimney. Pic of clamp definitely was not the one on product. Mine was a small piece of clamp spot welded on. Needed impact to turn adjustment screw. Had to cut clamp off cap and rivet it back on. If I take it off, will add a second clamp. Glad it was on outdoor wood stove and not on roof, rating would be much lower.

Content: It was easy to install also looked great and fit great after install. It's made to where it keeps the birds and rain out of the pipe an also lets the smoke to escape from the heater. Great value and it dose what it was made too do.
