It would be great for older child or teen or collector. Tried 2 different sets of new batteries and the clock did not work. My 6yr old son wanted to play with it because it looks like a toy. But it is definitely NOT made to be played with. I returned it because it didn't work upon arrival but also it wouldn't have been appropriate for my son to play with anyway. Also, it is so very small!! Like 6 inches tall at most! Overall: Super cute for display.

I keep this lil guy on my work desk and it really brightens up space. I don't use the clip hands as much as I thought I would so I ended up making him hold stuff I found amusing. Notes: One dial on the back is for setting the clock time and the other is for the alarm. Alarm timeframe is between 0-12 hours as it is a standard 12 hour clock. The alarm is a standard beeping noise and the top notch on its head is NOT A SLEEP BUTTON. It may look like one in the picture, but it's just for show. There's a switch in the back to turn the alarm off.
