It's not a bright glow but it does glow. I have washed and dried it and it didn't fade or rip. It is nice and thick for the cold nights.

Content: I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson who was moving up from a crib to a twin bed. He absolutely LOVES his new "Construction zone", as he calls it. He plays with his trucks on his bed now. We haven't gotten him to sleep under the covers yet, but he is one happy boy! Strongly recommend this for any active little boy! The quality is also great. The only feature that he doesn't like is the glow in the dark, as he likes his night light. I think it's cool, and he'll eventually appreciate it.
