I mostly get the hanging ones for basement and some closets lbut have used the container / depends on the area. Love the lavender and vanilla. That are somewhat expensive but not needed as much in cold weather. In very humid time of the year one lasts about a month. They are worth the price. I am very pleased with the results and no odor just a mold free pleasant smelling basement.
