An 8 1/2 x 11-inch document fits the frame perfectly. Can it be improved upon? Yes, on my sample, the inside of the glass was quite dirty (lint and some kind of film). I don't know if this is typical. In any case, it cleaned up with my favorite glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth and now it's fine. Not a significant downgrade unless you're framing a large number of documents. In sum, this was a good purchase for me. If I ever need another one I'll order the same thing.
