Content: this drain catcher is very slim and works on any drain type; the versatility makes it easy when moving across rental houses cause you know it will work. it literally just sits over the drain, how much simpler could it get?! it catches both my long thick hair while washing it and my husband's short thick hair when we shave it every 2 weeks (so pretty short hairs). it is easily washable and being silicone makes it last longer. it doesnt slip, stays right in place through any water pressure

I use it when I wash my hair and when I bathe my dog (he's a Jack Russell terrier mix). It catches his loose fur easily too. I got the 2-pack and use the 2nd one for our laundry sink (our washing machine drains into it) to catch any hair and lint that might clog the drain.

I didn't think to measure the size of my drain because I assumed it was a standard size for most drains so I bought this seeing to just need a replacement. Definitely bigger than what I expected. It works pretty well on catching hair but removing the hair depending on how long the hair is, it might get stuck on the inner circle and the catcher doesn't stick to the tub so it may slide around not that it needs to stay stuck. I would probably buy this if my drain was in the middle of the shower rather than at the end of my tub.
