**Introduction** The HOMBYS Reversible Waterproof Duvet Cover offers an innovative solution for protecting your comforter from spills, moisture, and pet accidents. Designed with a breathable, moisture-wicking treatment, this duvet protector ensures that your bedding remains fresh and durable without compromising on comfort. It's ideal for households with pets, children, or elders, and fits perfectly on a king-size bed. With soft materials and practical features like corner ties, this product is a must-have for anyone looking to safeguard their duvets while maintaining style and ease of use. **Advantages** 1. **Waterproof Protection**: Effectively prevents water from soaking through, making it excellent for protecting against spills and pet accidents. 2. **Breathability**: The duvet cover is designed to be breathable, providing comfort without excessive heat accumulation. 3. **Soft Texture**: The soft waterproof side is comfortable against the skin, while the reversible side feels like cotton. 4. **Durable Material**: Quality materials ensure the duvet cover withstands regular use without wear and tear. 5. **Easy Maintenance**: Machine washable, though drying takes longer than non-waterproof fabrics. 6. **Noise Reduction**: Constructed to avoid the crinkling sound often associated with waterproof materials. 7. **Corner Ties**: These effectively secure the duvet in place, reducing slipping during use. 8. **Allergen Protection**: Provides a barrier against allergens for sensitive sleepers. 9. **Versatile Design**: Can be used as both a protector and a standalone cover thanks to its aesthetic appeal. 10. **No Chemical Odor**: Arrives with no unpleasant smells, ensuring a pleasant first-time use. **Disadvantages** 1. **Increased Drying Time**: Due to the waterproofing, drying the duvet cover in a machine can be time-consuming. 2. **Additional Weight**: Adds noticeable weight to the duvet, which might not suit everyone. 3. **Single-Sided Waterproofing**: Only one side of the cover is waterproof, which may not satisfy all needs. 4. **Potential Overheating**: Though breathable, some users may experience additional warmth. 5. **Fit Adjustments**: May require occasional fluffing to keep the duvet in place due to slippage. 6. **Limited Noise When Adjusting**: Minimal noise-suppressing features could still produce sound when moving. 7. **Sizing Requirements**: Ensure correct sizing for larger comforters to avoid improper fit. 8. **Initial Setup**: May require a more careful setup to ensure the correct side faces up. 9. **Packaging Creases**: Vacuum-packed, so the first use may involve smoothing out wrinkles. 10. **Weight Considerations**: Effectively increasing the size of the duvet, possibly unsuitable for smaller washers. **Conclusion** The HOMBYS Reversible Waterproof Duvet Cover is a thoughtfully designed product catering to those needing robust protection for their quilts against pets, kids, or liquid spills. Its quality craftsmanship and dual-material design provide breathability and comfort. However, potential buyers should be prepared for longer drying times and weight considerations. Overall, its benefits significantly enhance duvet longevity and hygiene, making it a worthy addition to any home. **FAQ** 1. **Is the HOMBYS duvet cover machine washable?** Yes, it is machine washable. However, it may take longer to dry due to its waterproof properties. 2. **Can I use this cover with pets that have accidents?** Absolutely. The cover is designed to be waterproof to protect against accidents from pets. 3. **Does the waterproofing make the cover noisy?** No, the cover is constructed to minimize noise, unlike many other waterproof covers. 4. **How does it attach to the duvet?** The cover comes with corner ties that securely hold the duvet in place. 5. **Is it too warm for summer use?** While breathable, some users might notice slight warmth due to the additional layer, but it's generally comfortable even in warmer conditions. 6. **Is the duvet cover waterproof on both sides?** No, only one side features waterproofing, which should face up during use. 7. **Does it fit a king-size duvet?** Yes, it is designed to fit a king-size duvet measuring 90"x106". 8. **How is it packaged?** It arrives vacuum-packed to ensure freshness and compact delivery. 9. **Can I use it as a regular duvet cover?** Yes, its elegant design allows it to be used as a standalone cover if desired. 10. **Will it fit in a standard washing machine?** Depending on your duvet size, ensure your washer can handle the additional bulk of the cover.

Title: Perfect!
Content: I have a very large duck down duvet comforter that does not fit in my washing machine. To avoid ever having to hand wash it I was on the hunt for a waterproof protector, this one is great! —This is truly breathable, of course it is going to add a touch more heat as any extra layer would but nothing noticeable (I use it under another cover) —It did add a bit of weight to my comforter, it’s not as airy and lightweight feeling. Not enough weight for me to not recommend or return but definitely noticeable. —I tested this by dumping a water bottle on it and nothing soaked through to my duvet so I can confidently say it is waterproof!! —The waterproof side is very soft while the underside feels like a normal cotton or cotton blend sheet. —I use this layered with a decorative duvet cover on top and although the duvet does slip a little (my duvet does not have hooks to tie in place) it is nothing major and doesn’t happen until after a couple nights of sleep. I just fluff it back up and r-adjust and it’s ready to go! — Washed and dried on a regular setting, nothing to say except it does take longer than a non-waterproof material would to dry, but that’s normal.

Title: Duvet PROTECTOR investment you won't regret!
Content: Consider me a self-described duvet snob connoisseur, lol! Decades, from European crib duvets, to Michigan and Scandinavian open window winters, to California and humid East-coast summers, many bedding choices have come my way. Duvet PROTECTOR that met my standards was harder to find than mattress protectors! If you found this, your search should be over. I first bought a twin, then immediately bought a King size as well. I'm actually impressed, lol. Protector *HAD* to be quality material, and absolutely ZERO noise. Encasement against allegens are great, but many protectors aren't waterproof and cheaper options tend to be thin and/or made out of some noisy material. Breathability: you have to find the balance that works for you. Untreated cotton isn't waterproof, and synthetic fabrics add extra weight (and warmth) and may make your duvet "too warm." Treatment or backing layers on natural fibers may add stiffness and noise. Adding protector *will* make your duvet heavier. Even on a twin, there is definitely more weight. Consider if you want a thinner duvet or if extra fabric makes no difference in your comfort. Either way, your duvet will last longer. This design is really top notch. Executed with different fabrics, is brilliant. It's constructed so you get the best of both, and benefit in how they combined them. Genius and great quality! Some people complain it's not waterproof on both sides, but again, you only need it on one side: textured, quilted fabric facing up, and smooth, soft side facing down toward your body. *If you have reversible colored bedding, it's easy to ensure which way is up. I have a cat, that on occassion has pee'd on bedding to get my attention, ticked off, or sending a message, lol. This has been new to me. Weeks go by without incident, but when it happens, I have to pre-treat ALL bedding with enzyme cleaners, then wash everything! Just like pet blankets, one side repels water. With this cover, the underside is made of lighter and VERY SOFT material, with great breathability. The quilted, textured, side should face up. While you may wish both sides were made of the same material, it would add unnecessary weight, bulk and likely make duvet "too heavy" for a lot of people. As long as the underside face your body, there should be comfortable breathability. Note: protector goes on "sideways." Ties in corners are A+; enough width and length to securely tie duvet in place and not strain fingers. Protector arrives vacuum tightly packed. There is no smell. I recommend to run new bedding through quick wash cycle with liquid detergent and Fabric Softener in COLD water. This product is so nice, it can pass for an actual cover! With actual cotton duvet cover on, it's pure bliss to sleep in.

Title: Nice product-One problem
Content: I needed a product as this as my 151/2 year old Boston terrier is beginning to have issues with incontinence. When this duvet cover was delivered I was very surprised at the great workmanship and quality of the fabric. I had seen that another customer had commented that it took a long time to dry this item. Well, they were serious! I dried it for over an hour in my clothes dryer and it was still damp. I foresee this as becoming a big problem as the weather begins to cool off and I cannot finish the drying process outside.

Title: Must have
Content: I have an expensive duvet insert and a cat with bladder issues, so this is a must. Only one side is waterproof, so I have to check the correct one is on top when I make the bed.

Title: Only one side is waterproof
Content: While this protector is reversible as described, both sides are not waterproof. Only the quilted side has the PUL liner. I don’t understand why one would only want to protect one side and not the other. This certainly isn’t a protector to use for a bed wetter.

Title: Dog resistant
Content: While no bedding fabric is exempt from soil, I am delighted the cover has deflected a few gastro accidents and muddy paws. It machine washes well but it retains a lot of water after the spin cycle. The drying time is longer due to the waterproofing material. It has saved my duvet many times

Title: Nice quality!
Content: This was easy to put the comforter inside of… i used this for inside my camper (I put an old lumpy comforter, Queen size, that I had for a long time) & it fit just fine 👍 I love that the material is waterproof. For the material being kinda thick/waterproof it was comfortable to sleep under. I am happy with this item, & would buy again if needed. 😊

Title: Only one side is waterproof
Content: While this protector is reversible as described, both sides are not waterproof. Only the quilted side has the PUL liner. I don’t understand why one would only want to protect one side and not the other. This certainly isn’t a protector to use for a bed wetter.

Content: While no bedding fabric is exempt from soil, I am delighted the cover has deflected a few gastro accidents and muddy paws. It machine washes well but it retains a lot of water after the spin cycle. The drying time is longer due to the waterproofing material. It has saved my duvet many times
