### Introduction The EASELAND Queen Size Mattress Pad is designed to provide an added layer of comfort and protection for your mattress. Made with a quilted cotton top, this fitted mattress protector offers a blend of breathability and mild cushioning to enhance your sleep experience. Suitable for mattresses 8-21 inches deep, it ensures a snug fit and stays in place, offering you a restful night's sleep without the hassle of constant adjustments. ### Advantages 1. **Temperature Regulation**: The mattress pad provides decent air circulation, which assists in regulating heat on memory foam mattresses known to retain warmth . 2. **Deep Pocket Fit**: The elastic is generous and fits securely over thick mattresses, including those with additional toppers . 3. **Quality Material**: The use of cotton increases breathability while preventing the slickness associated with synthetic materials . 4. **Affordability**: Compared to other non-memory foam pads, it offers a good balance of quality and price without breaking the bank . 5. **Comfort Enhancement**: It adds a noticeable layer of softness and comfort, improving the sleeping surface . 6. **Ease of Use**: Comes vacuum-packed but fluffs up significantly when dried as directed . 7. **Natural Fiber Preference**: The cotton material is especially appreciated by those who prefer natural over synthetic fibers . 8. **Non-slip**: The underside helps keep the pad in place, even for those who move a lot in their sleep . 9. **Sufficient Padding**: Offers a slight cushioning effect, ideal for those who don't need thick padding . 10. **Odor Management**: Initial chemical odor dissipates with proper airing and washing . ### Disadvantages 1. **Limited Cooling Effect**: While it helps with temperature regulation, it does not significantly cool the sleeping surface . 2. **Thickness Expectations**: Some users may find it thinner than desired, especially those seeking substantial cushioning . 3. **Washing Limitations**: The pad's size and thickness might require commercial-sized machines for effective cleaning . 4. **Initial Chemical Odor**: Comes with a noticeable odor when unpacked, though it fades after washing . 5. **Not 100% Cotton**: While primarily cotton, the material is not pure, which might not meet the expectations of some users . 6. **Heat Retention**: Can still retain some heat, making it feel warm in certain situations . 7. **Vacuum Packing**: The compressed packaging can lead to a temporary chemical smell . 8. **Lack of Cushioning**: Does not add significant cushioning if used without a foam topper . 9. **Slight Shrinkage**: Some users have reported a minor shrinkage after washing and drying . 10. **Elastic Durability**: While initially strong, the elastic might lose strength over extended use . ### Conclusion The EASELAND Queen Size Mattress Pad is a cost-effective solution for those looking to add breathability and a mild cushioning layer to their mattress. It's particularly beneficial for memory foam mattress owners who need better temperature regulation. While it may not meet everyone's expectations for thickness or cooling, its blend of affordability, fit, and comfort makes it a worthwhile consideration for many sleepers. ### FAQ **1. Title: Does the job and description is accurate
Content: This mattress pad has been on our bed for a couple weeks now and my spouse and I are happy with it. It’s at the proper price point for the product we received. I washed, dried, and fluffed it using two tennis balls on air dry in the dryer before first use. I never expected this to be like a feather bed or anywhere close, just enough loft to be, well, a pad. We already have a memory foam topper, so we have no need for additional cushioning, but we do have a need to temperature regulate because the memory foam retains a ton of body heat. This mattress pad gives enough air circulation for necessary heat regulation. I wouldn’t call it cooling at all, that’s probably a step too far. Regulating is more accurate. It can still be a little toasty at times, but overall it’s no worse temperature-wise than our previous very thin all cotton pad. The mattress pad quality seems fine. Only time will really tell. There were no loose threads or fabric irregularities. The surface fabrics felt fine to the touch. The elastic was plenty deep and holds the pad in place over a deep mattress and 4 inches of extra memory foam topper, so the elastic is also strong. Mattress pads like this have never been an item on which I spend a lot of money. I was a little flabbergasted at the amount of money non memory foam mattress pads were commanding since it’s not an item I shop for frequently anyway. This one seemed like a good compromise without hitting triple digit prices. So far, it’s worked out that way. If you were like me and both overwhelmed by the available choices and unable to really discern why one pad was twice or three times the price of another, this mattress pad might be a good one to try out. One last thing to note: this mattress pad comes packaged vacuum compressed. When we opened the package, the pad definitely had a noticeable (not overwhelming) chemical odor to it. I let it air out in a spare room for a day. It went away with a very thorough washing with several rinses and the dry and fluff I mentioned up top. If that odor had not gone away, this would be a different review. I’m not sure if it was the outer fabric, the fill, the elastic, or the packaging since it was so compressed in plastic. Be sure to wash this thing and give it plenty of air circulation to dry before using it.

Title: Fits Well, Stays Put, And Is Thick In My Opinion.
Content: I needed to replace my old mattress pad, and was looking for something that would hopeully not slide around and bunch up under me and that might be more cooling. I read the negative reviews that said this pad was thin, but the one I received is what I would consider on the thicker side. It was certainly thicker than the one I was replacing. I did toss it in the dryer on low for a few minutes to fluff it up before putting it on my bed. It is large/thick enough that I may not be able to wash it in my large size washing machine and I would consider taking it to laundrymat to wash in a commercial size machine. This pad has the feel of good quality to it. I like that the top has an almost satin like smoothness to it. . I think that's going to help keep my sheets from rubbing against it and moving it and bunching it up. I move a lot when I'm sleeping, which was causing my old pad to shift, come off on the sides, and bunch up under me. The sides are very deep and I had no issues with it covering all sides of my mattress and getting it tucked under the corners/sides of my mattress. The underside of the pad isn't as smooth, and I don't think it'll slide easily on the mattress when I toss and turn. As far as coolness goes, I'd say I'm sleeping a little cooler than with my old mattress pad. I live in the South, as transplant from the North, and am always too warm at night time. In my opinion, this is a good quality mattress pad at are really good price. If I find issue with it later on, I'll update this review.

Title: Quality
Content: The elastic all around is a generous size and fits over thick mattresses and is quality enough that it does not wear out quickly. It is thick but not thick enough to be called a comfortable topper. I bought a 1.5 inch thick egg crate memory foam and put this cover over it. This was pretty comfortable but I ended up buying a cheap duvet that was about as thick as this cover and that made for a real topper on my bed and the elastic on this cover fit over both the memory foam and duvet. I’m happy and the entire price was way cheaper than most real toppers.

Title: Comfortable, makes a difference
Content: I was going to buy a new bed but decided to hold off a little while and see if there was anything I could do to make sleep a tad more comfortable.. This was a great option. I’ve never used a mattress pad or topper before so I was excited to see what was available. You do have to throw it in the dryer to fluff it out. I did on high heat for 30 minutes, and it does make a huge difference. This is only my first night actually using it but it makes my bed look and feel bigger, especially since my set doesn’t have a boxspring. It fits super snug around my mattress, there’s more than enough material to wrap the bed. It’s soft enough and also adds some heat to the sleep experience so far but I’m not complaining in the midwest winter.

Title: A quality mattress pad that provides a little poof.
Content: I don’t know what the expectations are of some people’s reviews that this doesn’t add any cushioning to their mattress. It isn’t supposed to. Buy a foam mattress topper if you want that. This has enough fluff to provide a tiny layer between you and your mattress. I replaced a cheap microfiber cover with this cotton fabric cover and made a huge difference. First the slickness of polyester makes your sheets slide around and this nice cotton doesn’t and grips them nicely. Plus polyester retains heat and this is much more breathable. I like to use natural fibers like 100% cotton or linen. This may not be 100% cotton but it feels much more natural than all that brushed or slick microfiber junk out there. It has enough poof that you can see the box baffles through my thick flannel sheets so that is enough padding from a mattress cover. I put it on my new hybrid mattress and love it. Please support manufacturers that sell natural fibers. It is worth the money and becoming harder to find.
