Built to support up to 600 pounds, this air mattress is a versatile solution for both temporary and regular use, making it ideal for guests and travel alike. **Advantages** 1. **Ease of Use**: The built-in electric pump allows for quick inflation and deflation within minutes, reducing the hassle of setup. 2. **Height and Support**: At 22 inches high, it offers ease of getting in and out, similar to a regular bed, which is especially beneficial for those with mobility issues . 3. **Comfort**: Most users find it comfortable enough to equate it with traditional mattresses, with firm support provided by the Fiber-Tech construction . 4. **Durability**: The thick, sturdy material enhances the longevity of the mattress, making it suitable for regular use . 5. **Portability**: Comes with a strong carrying case, making storage and transportation convenient . 6. **Noise Level**: While there is some noise during inflation, it is considerably quieter than other air mattress models . 7. **Air Retention**: Many users report that the mattress maintains air well after the initial setup period . 8. **Wide Sleeping Surface**: The flat and spacious top surface offers comfortable sleeping space without the constricting raised edges found on some models . 9. **Weight Capacity**: Capable of supporting up to 600 pounds, making it suitable for different body types . 10. **Value for Money**: Offers great functionality and comfort at a more affordable price compared to some higher-end air mattresses . **Disadvantages** 1. **Deflation Issues**: Some users experience air loss over time, although this is sometimes attributed to the stretching material rather than defects . 2. **Pump Seal Durability**: The seal around the pump may degrade with extended use, leading to leaks . 3. **Cold Surface**: When used on hard floors, the mattress can become cold, requiring additional insulation . 4. **Initial Inflation Experimentation**: It may take several tries to find the ideal firmness, especially for side sleepers . 5. **Deflation Process**: Takes longer to deflate completely and requires patience during folding for storage . 6. **Size and Bulkiness**: Its large size can be cumbersome for some spaces, although beneficial for tall users . 7. **Short Pump Lifespan**: Although durable, the pump may begin to fail after a couple of years of occasional use . 8. **Replacement Parts**: Finding replacement parts, specifically for the pump, can be challenging . 9. **Limited Warranty**: Warranty and return policies may be limited or not sufficient for some users . 10. **Storage Hassle**: Fitting the mattress back into its storage bag can be difficult after deflation . **Conclusion** The Intex 64417ED Dura-Beam Deluxe Comfort-Plush High-Rise Air Mattress stands out for its comfort and functionality, often rivaling more expensive models. While it presents some challenges, such as ensuring proper inflation over time and dealing with its bulk, many users find these minor compared to the benefits. The mattress's strong construction, ease of use, and affordable price point make it a compelling choice for those in need of a reliable temporary sleeping solution. **FAQ** 1. **How long does it take to inflate and deflate this air mattress?** The air mattress inflates in approximately 4-5 minutes and deflates within 7-8 minutes . 2. **Is the mattress noisy during inflation or deflation?** While some noise is present, it's quieter than many competing models . 3. **Can two people comfortably sleep on this mattress?** Yes, the mattress is designed to comfortably support two people with a weight capacity of 600 pounds . 4. **Does the mattress lose air overnight?** Some users report slight air loss initially, but this often stabilizes after a few uses as the material stretches . 5. **What type of bedding should I use with this air mattress?** Standard Queen-size sheets and bedding fit the mattress well . 6. **How portable is the mattress?** It comes with a carrying bag for easy transportation, although it may not always fit easily back into storage after use . 7. **What should be done if the pump seal starts to degrade?** If under warranty, consult with the manufacturer for repair or replacement options. Consider using external pumps as a last effort . 8. **Does this air mattress work well for people with mobility issues?** Yes, the 22-inch height makes it easier to get on and off, beneficial for those with knee or other mobility issues . 9. **How does the mattress perform on different flooring types?** It works on various floors but may get cold on hard floors without additional insulation . 10. **Can I use this air mattress long-term in place of a traditional bed?** It's primarily designed as a temporary solution, but some users find it comfortable for semi-regular use .

Title: Extremely comfortable!
Content: I would highly recommend this air mattress. It was just the right height as I have bad knees and cannot get down low. I prefer a firm mattress and this one is. I suppose it might be less firm if you don’t fill it to the max, but I did. This mattress is very sturdy, thick skinned and very comfortable. Once you’re on it and settle in to sleep, you would never know it was an air mattress. One of the best features is it has a built in pump so all you do is plug it in and turn the knob! It was inflated within 5 minutes. It also comes with a handy and strong carrying/storage case. Excellent product for the price!

Title: Skeptical at first, but after first use (so far) it’s a solid product
Content: I initially bought this to stay at my MIL’s senior community (to help her get settled), so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it and I planned to leave it for other relatives that might want to visit. I expected it to be cheap-ish quality and probably not last through my two week stay. First off, set up was a breeze. I laid it out and started inflation and it took about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate. The motor made noise, but it’s to be expected from something like this—I can say that it wasn’t as noisy as our Costco-bought mattress. Second, it’s big—but that’s not a bad thing as much as I thought anyway after I saw it fully inflated. Turns out, for me, it’s a good thing. Our Costco mattress sits low to the floor and as it deflates a bit during the night, it’s tough to get up. This one (the 22” model and the largest one at this writing) is wonderful as I can sit on the edge of it and stand up easily. Your experience may be different, but for older folks it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning. How does it sleep? Well, since I was visiting by myself and my significant other wasn’t with me, I can only speak for a single sleeper. It was really comfortable! It did take a bit of tweaking though as I thought I would like it more firm as I like to side sleep. The first couple of nights were a bit rough as I tossed and turned a bit in my sleep—I found that I couldn’t get comfortable on my side. For the reviews that say that it deflates after sleeping on it, I can say that it did seem to lose some air after the first two nights. The manufacturer does state that it does “stretch” and not deflate. As I wanted to test that statement, I didn’t change the firmness of it by re-inflating it to where I had it. The third and fourth nights were better sleep and I didn’t feel like the mattress deflated at all, so I found the stretch statement to be valid—it wasn’t losing air. After that night, I re-inflated it to where I thought I’d like it. The next night was the same tossing and turning that I had those first two nights, so I concluded that I needed to make it less firm and I actually DEflated it a bit and for the rest of the stay it was perfect! I didn’t have to touch it and I even unplugged it. When I was getting ready to leave, I started the deflation process by turning the dial in the opposite direction. It took longer to deflate, so I walked away for a bit—I’d guess about 7-8 minutes. When I came back the mattress was flat as a pancake and ready to fold. This is the only hassle of the process as folding it to get it into the storage bag and back into the box (for storage). I do like the tote that they provide as the handles make it easy to lug about. So, the first use was a success. If repeated uses reveal issues, I’ll report back. I will say that I plan to buy another one to replace our beloved Costco air mattress—she’s showing her age and the height of this one as well as the cost make it a no-brainer to get it as a second. We’ll use this one until it dies (if it even does) and then fall back on our old one if needed. I gave an overall 5 stars for the product with 4 stars for sleep quality and comfort only because your idea of these two might be a bit of a learning experience until you find your inflation sweet spot—so it’s not just an “inflate fully and use” type of scenario.

Title: Great! Not so Comfy!
Content: It's easy to inflate and deflate. It's substantial, well-built, and to date, quite durable. However, it does not consistently remain inflated throughout the night. Overall, it's not a bad choice for what I was looking for.

Title: Nice!
Content: Writing this after I used it for 2 nights. Daughter brought a friend home with her from college for the holiday. It was very easy to inflate. Just plug in and turn the dial to the inflate setting. Just as easy to deflate. Her friend slept for about 10-12 hours so it must have been comfortable. I laid on it the next night. I’m 270 lbs and i felt very supported. Not wobbly at all. Very high off the floor as i purchased the double high model. It is definitely a good product and seems to be worth the money. I will update this if necessary as time progresses.

Title: The BEST Air Mattress
Content: This air mattress is such good quality. I had set it up for guests to stay for a week and we only needed to inflate it more once. It takes a bit to inflate since it's so big but it has been great quality and fairly comfortable for an air mattress. The only thing to note is I had it on hardwood floor and since the floor is cold, the mattress also got cold since there's no insulation so I needed extra blankets on the base.

It slept VERY COMFORTABLY . This is definitely a great inexpensive one. I'm honestly shocked that the bag was big enough cause normally I'm getting frustrated and just saying forget it. Must buy I will definitely take a picture of it inflated and add it to the review tonight update a month later it began to lose air it had no apparent hole in it but the company did however refund me the money back

Title: Pump Seal Developed Slow Leak Over Time
Content: Worked well the first few times we used it but the seal around the pump began to fail after a while. Lasts maybe 2 years with occasional sustained use. We use it for holiday guests so about 2 weeks of continuous use twice a year with one person sleeping on it. It held up fine the first year but year two had some definite leakage. Year three ended up with me laying on the floor in the morning because it had lost so much air overnight. We took it outside and soaped the whole thing down looking for any holes more than once. No holes which does say good things about the durability of the material but meant we couldn't just patch the problem. I'm pretty sure it's the built in pump mechanism that is the leak. It is comfortable, I like the height and the air disbursement system inside means you don't sag in one spot or roll towards the middle. Great design.

Title: Best inflatable raise bed
Content: This is by far the best raised inflatable bed out there. We had this model for years a while back and loved it but decided to “upgrade” to a newer one. We must have tried a dozen “higher quality” mattresses but they were all terrible in their own special ways. This mattress is supper sturdy yet comfortable with a nice flat top (not those divot riddles ones like most). Pumps up quickly & holds air really well & the dimensions are actually accurate *it’s actually 60inch wide *not 54-56 like some other “queens” we bought and it’s actually 22in hight so easy to sit on. The top is also pretty flat so you get the full top as a sleeping service (some other have this large 3inch raised wall around the top reducing the sleeping service even more). Most importantly it’s much cheaper than some others out there. Would highly recommend.

Title: Amazing!
Content: This bed is HUGE! It sits about 20 inches tall which I didn’t realize so it’s looking ke sleeping on a regular bed. Mattress is comfortable and sets up quickly. It is a little noisy but it quickly inflates and deflates.

Content: Y'all have been through just about every airmatress Amazon and Walmart has right and not a one of them actually fit in the bag after deflated. The first night it didn't even lose air.
