Absolutely no lingering coffee smell either! It is waterproof yet comfortable enough to use it right underneath a sheet; it's a soft material that's not plastic-y at all. Mine is twin size, and is a little tricky to get on the first time, plus I'm doing it by myself. An extra person would help a lot. It has to be put on like a pillowcase. There's an opening at one end that continues about one-third of the way down on both sides of mattress, so I stand the mattress on end and slip it over the top. But if you've got a full size or larger bed you probably won't want to do that...it would be hard to handle. But that doesn't keep me from giving this 5 stars because it's doable for practically anyone and will get easier to put on each time. I mainly got these for allergy/asthma reasons. I have extra beds too so when family comes to visit, their beds will be clean and ready to use, no changing this just because it's been on there a while and needs washed! Content: I spilled an entire cup of coffee on my bed, on this cover. Not ONE BIT of it leaked through to the mattress and it washed out in hot water perfectly! I wish I would've taken a picture. Absolutely no lingering coffee smell either! It is waterproof yet comfortable enough to use it right underneath a sheet; it's a soft material that's not plastic-y at all. Mine is twin size, and is a little tricky to get on the first time, plus I'm doing it by myself. An extra person would help a lot. It has to be put on like a pillowcase. There's an opening at one end that continues about one-third of the way down on both sides of mattress, so I stand the mattress on end and slip it over the top. But if you've got a full size or larger bed you probably won't want to do that...it would be hard to handle. But that doesn't keep me from giving this 5 stars because it's doable for practically anyone and will get easier to put on each time. I mainly got these for allergy/asthma reasons. I have extra beds too so when family comes to visit, their beds will be clean and ready to use, no changing this just because it's been on there a while and needs washed! I use a sticky roller on mine to remove any dust buildup for one that's not been used for a while. I have the pillowcases/protectors in this brand too. They are just as nice, and they zip up on the end. I highly recommend these. The value + quality can't be beat!

Content: I ordered my mattress cover a little big hoping it would fit because most covers are so small. When I received my cover not only did it fit it had plenty of room. It went on with the greatest of ease and I have a really thick bed. It was shockingly soft but so functional in being waterproof and also bug proof. A must when you have a ton of kids in the family who visit and small grandkids! I showed my daughter and she’s in love with the cover so much she’s ordering one for every bed in her house to protect her kids and the investments of her mattresses! Infact it's very soft to the touch! Was easy to put on the bed. I was so worried it would be hard to get on! But I had NO issues. An I love how it velcros by the zipper to hold it in place! Worth it the money to protect the mattress! So you don't get those gross spots from just your body sweating in your sleep...or going to bed with wet hair! .....or spilling a drink! Content: We've had a mattress pad on all of our beds for very long time. Recently upgraded mattresses and decided for our personal sleeping space we did not want anything crunchy for the bed. I ended up ordering this mattress cover for our spare bedroom because that is the room that takes on all the guests and you want to make sure that you protect the bed at all cost. The biggest thing for me is that it does not have the crunching sound that previous mattress covers had, still fully protects the mattress from wetness or anything else that may touch it. Noticed from sleeping in the bed myself that there was no sweat accumulated because of an overly plasticky heaviness to the mattress cover. Has a softness that is very comfortable. Was very easy to maneuver onto the mattress exceptional functionality, very thin lays flat, and you would never know that there is a mattress cover there!
