I'm fairly tall 5'9" and the blanket reaches from my chest and shoulders to down around my feet. While the blanket is in use you really don't feel the wires, just the nice warmth. There are four settings: warm, low, medium and high. There is also a 2-hour auto shut off feature to prevent overheating. I tried it on all the heat settings and warm is my favorite for extended use while sitting in my recliner. After about 45 minutes you can actually turn the blanket off and your own body heat will radiate beneath the blanket keeping you really warm. At least that worked for me. Also if your feet are cold wear socks or just wait because when your chest gets warm your feet will finally warm up too. The "warm" setting is great because it calms down my anxiety and makes me feel safe and protected emotionally. When I had this blanket on, my cat Fuzz came and laid on my lap and purred and purred very loudly like she'd just discovered the most comfortable blanket ever! She loved the warmth and softness. I would not however leave this blanket on for pets. I would not leave it unattended and I'd keep the cord out of the way when not in use so no one trips over the cord. Content: Update 3: Nevermind on the great customer service. I have been in contact with a rep and even sent a video showing my blanket not working properly and I have not heard a word back. The website says the blankets have a 5 year warranty and I am clearly in the 5 years. Update 2: The company was good to replace the blanket a year ago but now I’m having the exact same issue. I haven’t been able to use my blanket for 2 weeks and my body is missing it. Heated blankets are a huge comfort to my pain. Update: Not sure if heated blankets have a life span but I think mine reached it. It will no longer stay on even after “a troubleshoot”. 2 years later. This is still by far the best heated blanket ever. I got this blanket to help my chronic pain and anxiety. I live under this thing. It brings so much relief and comfort. Sadly after a few months of having it the push on button broke, I called and they sent a replacement. Customer service was phenomenal. Highly recommend this.

The heating is pretty good where the cords/coils actually are. Cons: This was the big disappoint for me, the heating cords/coils/whatever they are do not extend throughout the entire blanket. On the long ends there's about 12+ inches all along it that are not heated and on the shorter ends its about 6. I'd probably consider sending it back if I hadn't gotten it on sale and already tossed the box before realizing this. I'd suggest spending a bit more money on a nicer blanket where the coils actually extend through most of the blanket.

I've used it every night since receiving it last week and it has worked as described, with noticeable differences between the 4 heat settings, accurate auto-shut off at the 2 hour mark, and no overheating, or malfunction.

The website says the blankets have a 5 year warranty and I am clearly in the 5 years. Update 2: The company was good to replace the blanket a year ago but now I’m having the exact same issue. I haven’t been able to use my blanket for 2 weeks and my body is missing it. Heated blankets are a huge comfort to my pain. Update: Not sure if heated blankets have a life span but I think mine reached it. It will no longer stay on even after “a troubleshoot”. 2 years later. This is still by far the best heated blanket ever. I got this blanket to help my chronic pain and anxiety. I live under this thing. It brings so much relief and comfort. Sadly after a few months of having it the push on button broke, I called and they sent a replacement. Customer service was phenomenal. Highly recommend this.

Update: Not sure if heated blankets have a life span but I think mine reached it. It will no longer stay on even after “a troubleshoot”. 2 years later. This is still by far the best heated blanket ever. I got this blanket to help my chronic pain and anxiety. I live under this thing. It brings so much relief and comfort. Sadly after a few months of having it the push on button broke, I called and they sent a replacement. Customer service was phenomenal. Highly recommend this.
Title: Heating cords don't extend through the whole blanket
Content: Pros: The blanket is soft and comfortable. The size is decent for me as I bought it to bring to work since my office is very cold. The heating is pretty good where the cords/coils actually are. Cons: This was the big disappoint for me, the heating cords/coils/whatever they are do not extend throughout the entire blanket. On the long ends there's about 12+ inches all along it that are not heated and on the shorter ends its about 6. I'd probably consider sending it back if I hadn't gotten it on sale and already tossed the box before realizing this. I'd suggest spending a bit more money on a nicer blanket where the coils actually extend through most of the blanket.

The hottest setting warms me up quickly and often becomes too hot. I bought it to replace another brand blanket that no longer got hot enough. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with your brand as I also purchased the large heating pad that covers my entire back. It’s saved me from having to go to the emergency room several times when I was in a bad pain flare. It’s able to bring my pain down a level or two so it’s more manageable. Thank you so much for creating products that have literally changed my life.

The feel is soft and plush and the heating wires are pretty imperceptible. The look is on par with what I’d expect to find at an upscale spa, and though I really wish the throw was offered in Lavender (or really just any shade of purple, which seems impossible to find from any brand) the rich gray goes well with my decor and looks very elegant (and oh so inviting on cold nights!) I've used it every night since receiving it last week and it has worked as described, with noticeable differences between the 4 heat settings, accurate auto-shut off at the 2 hour mark, and no overheating, or malfunction.

But 2 pads were not big enough to cover our legs. With their Pure Enrichment's Heated Throw, we can now cuddle together. The material is very, very soft and the Throw heats very quickly. I would highly reccomend this for anyone who wants to stay warm and not want to heat up the whole house just for one room. And with outstanding 5 year Warranty, you are really are guaranteed to get your money's worth!

Content: Snuggling with this warm blanket is pretty cozy as the Sherpa fabric is so comforting and soft. On the lowest setting "warm" it heats up pretty fast. I'm fairly tall 5'9" and the blanket reaches from my chest and shoulders to down around my feet. While the blanket is in use you really don't feel the wires, just the nice warmth. There are four settings: warm, low, medium and high. There is also a 2-hour auto shut off feature to prevent overheating. I tried it on all the heat settings and warm is my favorite for extended use while sitting in my recliner. After about 45 minutes you can actually turn the blanket off and your own body heat will radiate beneath the blanket keeping you really warm. At least that worked for me. Also if your feet are cold wear socks or just wait because when your chest gets warm your feet will finally warm up too. The "warm" setting is great because it calms down my anxiety and makes me feel safe and protected emotionally. When I had this blanket on, my cat Fuzz came and laid on my lap and purred and purred very loudly like she'd just discovered the most comfortable blanket ever! She loved the warmth and softness. I would not however leave this blanket on for pets. I would not leave it unattended and I'd keep the cord out of the way when not in use so no one trips over the cord. After 30 minutes of using this blanket I was releasing deep signs of relief which meant I was finally relaxed enough to feel good and not anxious anymore. If using this in a recliner just be careful to keep the cord out of the way of moving parts. I notice that the wires are in the center of the blanket so that is good too. ~The Rebecca Review

The website says the blankets have a 5 year warranty and I am clearly in the 5 years. Update 2: The company was good to replace the blanket a year ago but now I’m having the exact same issue. I haven’t been able to use my blanket for 2 weeks and my body is missing it. Heated blankets are a huge comfort to my pain.
