Content: I wanted to give valentines to my students that were cooler than just a lollipop and piece of paper. It was so hard to find some that didn't say things like "you make my heart race" or "I think you're cute" (since that's weird to give as a teacher), so I was really happy when I found these ones. I also loved how there was enough variety to fit the personalities of all my students, and the cards weren't just all dinosaurs or all princesses like most other valentines I've seen. My students are 2nd graders (7 and 8 years old) and most of them were unfamiliar with cootie catchers. They still liked these valentines, but they were all really confused at first and needed to be taught how to use them.

The only thing that was kind of a pain was the paper had a bit more of a gloss to them and I didn't have a Sharpie so when my son was signing them-- it was smearing pretty bad on the paper.
