However, if, like me, you consider towels a utilitarian household item which should be machine washable and dryable, then these are NOT for you. It never occurred to me to read the care label, because, you know, they're towels; machine drying is a fundamental element of sanitizing. So I washed/dried on medium, as I do with all new linens. There was nothing in the washer but the towels. They ran like pantyhose in 1985--not the colors, but they are so badly snagged--all of them, all over--as to be unusable. They are also very narrow--but if you want to wash your hand towels like they were cashmere sweaters, then go for it.

It never occurred to me to read the care label, because, you know, they're towels; machine drying is a fundamental element of sanitizing. So I washed/dried on medium, as I do with all new linens. There was nothing in the washer but the towels. They ran like pantyhose in 1985--not the colors, but they are so badly snagged--all of them, all over--as to be unusable. They are also very narrow--but if you want to wash your hand towels like they were cashmere sweaters, then go for it.
