I chose the copper, based on other reviews. I'm so glad I did- it really looks elegant and adds a nice contrasting touch. I have some copper pots/pans/ tea kettle and some decorative plates I swap out when decorating the mantle that compliment the screen. The screen is heavy and good quality. The copper has a distressed/old look which looks nice with the black hardware and mantle. It's not a super shiny copper, so it blends in rather than stands out. It looks more expensive than it was. I'm happy with the purchase.

Content: This is beautiful! It is more copper forward than I was expecting, but the dark areas help to keep it from looking too shiny. Truly, it looks like an aged piece that has been here for years which was my goal. It has a weight that gives it presence. It doesn’t look or feel flimsy and cheap. It is heavy for a fireplace screen. The design is eye catching as well. This was a bargain. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Content: I wanted a screen that would work with my wood stove when the door is open. I don’t ever use it with the door closed for heating. I always use it with door open for warm and cozy ambience, and I needed it to be safe with my recently adopted dog. This screen is large enough to cover completely and sturdy enough that it stands safely all by itself. The design is unique and beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything about this screen is 5 stars. I bought the black and would buy it again if need be.
