Title: Bait and Switch Product
Content: The media could not be loaded. This is a classic example of a bait and switch where the pictures and description describe one product, and you receive something very similar, but a little bit different in almost every way, some critical. The two main reasons that I chose this product over any number of similar looking ones were: 1. The description stated as of 1/23/25 "SECURE LID - Count on the tight lid to fit securely on the top of this fireplace bucket for ashes when you're removing ash from your wood stove, pellet stove, or fire pit.". This is important to me because I have young children and while the bucket will be stored in a location surrounded on 5 sides by brick, it could theoretically be tipped over and, if coals spill onto carpet, result in catastrophe. As you can see in my video, the lid isn't even close to a secure, tight fit. 2. The scoop shown in the images has very deep side walls. As you can see in my pictures, the scoop is a completely different design and construction than the one shown in the images, with much shorter side walls. Other differences noted include a different embossing pattern on the lid, rounded instead of rectangular scoop holder on the side of the bucket (presumably because it no longer has to receive those nice tall scoop sidewalls), differences in the pieces that hold the handle to the bucket, even a completely different handle shape and color. Also, when the scoop is in place it interferes significantly with the lid. Many of these differences are trivial, but when purchasing products online the only information that you have to go by are the images and description. They need to be trustworthy. This is either a copycat product that simply used someone else's photos, or both the design and manufacturing processes have drifted very far from the point at which the marketing pictures were taken. Either way, what you see is definitely not what you get with this product.

Title: Right Size Bucket
Content: Not too big, not too small. Good looking bucket that seems well made. A bit disappointed about the gauge of the metal, for the price, I was expecting it to be a bit heavier duty. I can take or leave the shovel holder, but the lid fits well and that is what I wanted. Overall satisfied.
