Title: This thing is great. Looks great, Sturdy construction. Nice addition to our fireplace set.
Content: LONG STORY SHORT: We moved to a new house, one with a working wood burning fireplace. Last winter, we opted to keep it wood burning, and we used it a LOT. Great to have a dedicated Ash bucket that looks nice and is functional. Although we have a fireplace set that includes a long handled brush and pan, these handheld versions are bigger, and often more useful than the long handled ones. The bracket to hold the pan and brush is offset. It's shallow on the left side for the pan, and wider on the right side to accommodate the brush. Well thought out design. The bucket is "shallower" than it looks from the outside. There's a 1-2 inch buffer between the bottom of the pail where the ashes sit, and the contact with the ground. That way, anything that's potentially hot, doesn't directly contact the surface that it's sitting on. CONCLUSION: Looks nice, works great, IS nice. Good buy.

Title: Just what we needed.
Content: We have been using this bucket and accessories for a couple of weeks now. It is nice to have a safe place to put any hot ashes so that I can start a new fire. The bigger shovel makes it faster to clean the ashes out. The brush works fine but does seem to lose a couple of bristles every time I use it. Overall we are pleased with this purchase.

Title: Function and stylish
Content: Not as high quality as I hoped but great for the price. Our handle comes off which is annoying, but slides back on easily. The lid closes tightly which is important and very helpful. Nice shovel. Okay brush.

Title: Decorative? Yes. Practical? Not so much.
Content: While this ash bucket is attractive and well constructed in all other areas, the lid simply sits on the rim and can easily be knocked off by bumping it. This is NOT something you want with an ash bucket that you're actually going to use. When dealing with messy ash and the possibility of warm embers, a tight-fitting lid is a must. Unfortunately, I didn't unpack this until after our new wood stove was installed, which was past the date of return, so I'm stuck with it. But hey, it looks great on the hearth! *Sigh*

*Sigh*

Okay brush.

Content: We use our fireplace all the time but always worried about the ashes being hot. A bit pricey but worth the money for safety reasons.

Title: Does what it is supposed to
Content: The bucket holds ashes from our brick fireplace after three days of burning…that’s a lot of ashes! Broom and shovel work well. Looks nice enough to leave next to the fireplace if you wish.
