Title: Attractive Unit, Puts Out Decent Heat...Controls Aren't Fancy but the Price is Right
Content: The media could not be loaded. Very attractive unit, suitable for small places; I needed something that would fit under a window to heat up a room that is chillier than the rest of the house because it has many windows and a slider. The controls are located behind the door and are easy and intuitive to use. Some buyers might miss a remote control and a high and low setting but while those things are available on some other units, they come at a higher price. There is no high or low heat output setting but the unit does have a twist thermostat knob setting that shuts the heat off when it reaches the desired temperature. Heat is blown from the bottom so the top stays cool. Now, the area below and in front of the heater where the output blows does get hot. I don't think it would be hot enough to warp vinyl plank but as I am paranoid I stopped at Lowe's and picked up a one-by-two-foot piece of black marble tile that protects the floor and, I dare say, looks pretty sharp. (The tile costs about two dollars.) Again -- I have no idea whether the heat would really have an effect on the vinyl plank but as I just spent a fortune to have the floor installed I'm not in the mood to take chances. There's also a sound setting that imitates the crackling of a fire. It sounds fairly realistic and is actually pleasant to listen to. All-in-all, a good deal for the money and robust enough to quickly heat up a small room.

Content: The media could not be loaded. 4.5 stars This arrived today and I immediately had to set it up. It was packaged well. The legs have to be screwed on. It has a sturdy three prong plug. Likes: The door opens and has a cute handle. The finish is AMAAAAAZING! The top, sides and back stay cool. It puts out heat! Our furnace has been struggling with some cold temps but this little guy has our 12x16 ft living room super toasty. The flame looks pretty dang realistic from a few feet away. The color is spot on. Thermostat control allows you to “set a temperature” basically meaning it won’t just stay on forever. Dislikes: The heater doesn’t stay on continuously (both a pro and con really) — meaning if you’re sitting in front of it you’ll be toasty one second and cool the next. The fan for the heat only has one setting— meaning you’ll be hot as you know what and then cold when it turns off. Only if you sit right in front of it. Otherwise the fan output is great because it pushes the heat out. Doesn’t matter to me but the “fireplace” can be on without the heat but not the other way around. Also there was no remote control. Crackling sound is sort of goofy but if you close your eyes and imagine a cold breeze and the smell of fire it’s convincing enough ;) Overall I feel like this was a good purchase for us.

Content: I purchased this small electric fireplace/stove to use in my upstairs study. It's perfect for the space. It looks beautiful, works well, and the flames are pretty realistic. It makes the room quite cozy. The nameplate on the front is a bit too prominent for my taste and "Suburbs" is a ridiculous name, but this is only a small point. I took off a star for the ridiculous amount of time and effort required to attach the legs to the body of the stove. My husband, who has assembled many items from Amazon, did the work or I would be taking off a couple more stars and the thing would probably still be in pieces. The instructions say that you need a Phillips screwdriver. You do, but this was just the beginning. The main problem is that the shape of the feet make it really hard to get leverage on the screwdriver. Also, one of the feet simply did not fit -- the holes in the foot did not line up with the ones on the stove at all. So he also needed the following: A small drill bit to chase the paint out of the screw holes so the screws would actually fit in the holes Mechanics pliers with the screwdriver to get leverage on the center screw because there is "no f***ing room" Right angled racheting screwdriver to tighten the outside screws (could have probably done with the Phillips, but this one worked better) Finally, a metal file to shape the foot that did fit so that it did fit Also, "the patience of Buddha" An hour later (some of which was spent rummaging around for tools) and some colorful language, patience of Buddha notwithstanding, the stove was assembled, and it is great. Awesome. Adorable in a vintage sort of way that is perfect for our home. But yikes. I'm lucky to be married to a mechanic who has all these tools and knows how to use them, otherwise these legs would never have gotten attached to the stove. It's especially annoying because the legs only add two inches of height. Two. Inches. They're necessary for both safety and aesthetics, but that the company is willing to put customers to all this trouble when they could simply pre-assemble the legs and add two inches to the height of the box does not speak well for them.

This is cleaver, attractive and throws a lot of heat!. Sat it on the 8" cooking ledge of my woodstove insert for use on milder days. Craftsmanship is outstanding. Very pretty design on all 6 sides. Easy to screw on cast hard plastic legs. Fan noise average. Warms up space quickly. Can use fireview without heating element / blower. I only wish the cord was 24" longer, as you cannot use an extension cord, and more length would allow more versitile placement and hiding the cord a bit. Great price for a decorative small faux fireplace infared space heater.

Content: Calienta bastante rápido una habitación de 9m2, el efecto de flama se ve bastante agradable y aunque es un poco más pequeña de lo que esperaba, funciona bastante bien. El recibo de la luz no se incremento demasiado en la temporada en que la utilicé, aunque se botó la pastilla al tenerla prendida junto con la lavadora, el microondas y otros electrodomésticos pequeños, dejando entrever qué si tiene un consumo bastante alto de energía. After 20 minutes of use, the cord only feels a very little warm and the plug maintains normal temperature. I recommend using a designated outlet, if available a 20 Amp 115-120 volt circuit. If not available, plug into a designated 15 amp 115-120 volt circuit and check from time to time for outlet temperature. Most new homes come equipped with 20 amp outlets.
