I gave it a try in order not to argue with her. It was horrible. One of the pleasures of living in the US (when compared to Europe) is our water pressure. Well, whatever water pressure had been there originally was now gone. The same for water coverage. I am a big guy and I need a cascade of water to get the right coverage. Sadly, the shower had my wife selected failed miserably. The pleasure of showering was gone. So, I ordered the Gurin from Amazon. I removed the water flow limiter and installed it. That was it. The magic was back and at a great price. I now have better water coverage and lots of pressure and flow. While the Gurin is completely made from plastic, something that does not inspire confidence, I do realize that the days are gone when things were made solid and massive. Still, the performance is great and the price is fantastic.
