Content: We used this cover for the futon couch in our camper. Because a camper futon is installed a little different than just a futon in your front room, this cover doesn’t fit quite as well as I had hoped, but I honestly think it would do a great job as a normal futon cover! It is soft and goes on like a bed sheet, and has ties underneath to help keep it from slipping off. The one complaint I have is that it doesn’t really indicate which side is for the top and which the bottom, and they definitely look different. Our couch fits the sizes listed in the description and it took two of us several tries to get it on the couch. It is a little too snug in the sides, and really doesn’t stretch as far as it should. Because it can’t wrap around the areas it’s installed in the RV to keep it from sliding around, it doesn’t sit as flat, which wouldn’t be as annoying if it stretched enough to at least tuck in and look like couch cushions, but it looks very clearly like a cover that doesn’t quite fit. Overall I’m happy with the soft fabric, and happy that I have a waterproof cover that will protect my couch and also be able to be cleaned after each camping trip (unlike the couch itself!), but I just wish it was slightly larger and was a little clearer on which side was up and which side was down.

Content: For the love of God save yourself the hassle. I'm pretty sure the average futon is a full size mattress, this does not fit it. The measurements on the listing say it will fit a mattress that it at max, 75×55 inches. My futon is 72×52 inches and it doesn't even come close to fitting. The fabric is a little bit stretchy but won't even reach 70×50 inches. The material is decently soft but that's the only thing going for it.

It is elastic and ‘fitted’, but doesn’t seem to be fitted right, and there are these ribbons that are for something, but I don’t know what. Not what I was expecting from a futon mattress cover.
