It did not have any visible shrinking and dried soft and with hardly any wrinkles. It was easy to put on; my spouse helped me but I easily could have done it myself. The way the zipper is oriented it is easy to slip the futon mattress in and zip. The zipper is heavy and sewn in well and all seams are even and sewn in well. Well finished and looks nice on the futon. The suede like fabric goes all the way around, not like some covers that just have a black fabric on the backside of cover. I have an 8" futon mattress and it was easy to put on and zip, not to tight. Looks really good on the futon and extends the life of your mattress. Would purchase again and would purchase other furniture covers from this brand if available.
