However, the packaging was a bit disappointing as the styrofoam made it more awkward to wrap and give. However the biggest disappointment was the height of the flame. It burns too high for me to comfortably burn it while serving drinks or appetizers and leave it alone. It’s more of an outdoor patio piece. I tried both 91% rubbing alcohol and the branded fuel you see in the picture. I also tried putting only a little fuel in it and also filling it to the max fill line. Both burned high and quickly. Less than 30 min tops for the max fill line. Also the branded fuel is very, very messy to pour and because it easily spills I typically wait 15-30 min from pouring the fuel until I light it. I tried both 91% rubbing alcohol and the branded fuel you see in the picture. I also tried putting only a little fuel in it and also filling it to the max fill line. Both burned high and quickly. Less than 30 min tops for the max fill line. Also the branded fuel is very, very messy to pour and because it easily spills I typically wait 15-30 min from pouring the fuel until I light it. I have given them as gifts with the caveat that it’s really more of a patio feature than an indoor coffee table/tablet op item. (Which is how I’ve seen others used.) I would not buy this again UNLESS I was strictly looking for a patio experience. UPDATE: I bought the same brand as the blogger (Coleman) and it burns at a more comfortable height for a much longer period of time. It is structured different which may be the reason. I tried to post a video comparison however it will not allow me to post two video and I cannot get a clear picture to represent the difference. It’s much too blurry.

It burns too high for me to comfortably burn it while serving drinks or appetizers and leave it alone. It’s more of an outdoor patio piece.
