Title: Warm, Crackling Glow, Burns Well!
Content: We use this in our indoor gel fuel fireplace. It works really well. Makes a nice crackling sound and has a nice warm glow. Puts a little bit of warmth out as well. The more cans you use, the larger the fire looks. We’ve used other gel fuels before and this works just as well as the others. Lasts about 2 1/2-3 hours.

Content: These nontoxic isopropyl and ethanol gel fuel cans are wonderful to have on hand to cook and provide warmth in an extended power outage or for camping. I am a professional fire performer, and these cans also work great for lighting props during a show—just be sure to have the fire safety person stationed nearby. I used the gel in my tabletop firepit, and it worked great! The turtle firepit picture was toward the end of the burn. You can cook using a makeshift grill—see picture. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the grill is an inch above the top of the can. You wouldn’t want the grill right on top of the can; you want at least an inch and 2” is even better. Each can provides several hours’ worth of beautiful flames. The 4” tall cans have a resealable lid similar to a paint can. The flames produced are completely smoke free and nontoxic, so this is safe to use indoors. It's also environmentally friendly.

If you pop the top off carefully, you can reinstall it to use in the future. If you do that, make sure it extinguishes and cool before so you don’t have a potential explosion reusing. Content: Please read the size of these cans. These are very large canisters of gel for something? I was hoping to use them for a small ceramic log I have that would hold a tealight size gel fuel for summer patio charm. I honestly don't know what these are for, as they are so big, like a cottage cheese container big. Maybe cooking when camping? But any fuel burning warmers I have seen at buffets were much smaller. I made a mistake in ordering these and I don't know what they are for. But the can is solid thick metal with a pry off lid. They arrived dent free and all in good shape. If this is what you need, it looks like quality. Good to have for an emergency to cook with or for heat, I will save them for this purpose.

Content: This can lasted only 2 hr burn time, gave off ahorrble odor the last 15 min of burn time, and leaves a layernof soot on the glass in my fireplace...I suspect that will show up on my walls/ceiling eventually, too. This a NO for me. I am moving on to other brands!

Content: I have now used this in the can and I dumped it into a homemade fire trough for wicks and fuel. It burned well and provided good heat for its size. I can say that in the can it definitely lasted significantly longer than the trough, which makes sense. There isn't a super strong odor when burning or smoke, which is perfect for tabletop fires.

Content: I love how these cans have a gel fuel so as not to spill easily when the can is open. It was a simple process, I just simply opened the can and put a BBQ lighter to the gel and it lit up right away nice and gently, with no burst of flames, just a gentle flame as you would hope for. One thing to keep in mind, make sure you remove the outer label as the instructions say to do before lighting the fuel can. I will say, these cans burn so long we just didn't even have enough time to test just how long long they can burn! But they're definitely capable of multiple uses!!

Content: These are cans containing ethanol (alcohol) gel, which can be lit and burned directly in the can. When you're done, just place the lid over the top to extinguish the flame. These can be reused. They should be tightly sealed to prevent evaporation of the alcohol. These will provide heat for a long time (up to 3 hours). They are 4 in. high, so they should fit most camp stoves, but it's easy to improvise a stove with a metal grill and a pot, for example. You put the can inside the pot, and the grill rests on top of the pot. Plain grills for camping are cheap and can be found on Amazon. This is easily done if you're not a camper, and you use these for emergencies, such as for power outages. Buy these in bulk and be ready for emergencies, or your next camping expedition.
