Crinkled from the flat wrapping, but it is relaxing nicely. It has stuffing to hold its pointed shape. I'VE BEEN SORTED!!!! UPDATE- The folds and wrinkles created by the flat shipping are easily steamed out with a steam iron. Also, the seam on the brim allows for a wire to be inserted (goes all the way around) so the brim is stiffened and bendable.

It is more of a child's type of hat so if you're serious into cosplay this is not that type of hat. You can probably modify this with something like craft pipe cleaners from the craft store and put them inside the hat to make it stay sturdy. It's still nice and probably cheaper than a fancier sorting hat.
