Content: I bought another brand for the exact same price and it was junk. Returned it and bought the Dreo. The brushless dc motor is whisper quiet. The controls are simple, the remote works from at least 8ft away. Set the mode to Eco, set the temperature, and the Dreo silently keeps the area under my desk perfect. When it reaches the set temp the unit shuts off. I never hear it turn off or back on again. The internal tip-over switch works perfectly. It has a nice long cord which was nice for my desk/outlet configuration. You can also turn off the display which is nice for sleeping. Just buy it if you are looking for a small space heater!!

I actually told a client about it today because her house was so cold when I went to see her! We're in a cold spell here in Florida so this was perfect timing! Thank you!! The only issue I had was not with the product... but the delivery. It was delivered the day it was supposed to be but was placed on the porch of my neighbor. They were kind enough to bring the package over right after it was delivered. The package had the correct address on it and our house number is very clear on the house and also on the mailbox. I thought I had blown the heater and my air fryer, nope just needed to take a walk to our breaker box & flip the switch :) then plug into regular outlet. Whew, disaster averted.

Because the controls to turn it on and adjust the heat, etc. are on the top of the unit BUT they are just flat circles that are touch sensitive and they are not lit up. So, if you use this unit at night for a bedroom, you can't see the controls at all. You need to turn on a light in the room to operate it. This is in contrast to the temperature read out on the front of the unit which is very bright. At night it is like a headlight shining into the room. So, the unit works great and is very quiet, but the controls are hard to use, particularly at night.

I actually told a client about it today because her house was so cold when I went to see her! We're in a cold spell here in Florida so this was perfect timing! Thank you!! The only issue I had was not with the product... but the delivery. It was delivered the day it was supposed to be but was placed on the porch of my neighbor. They were kind enough to bring the package over right after it was delivered. The package had the correct address on it and our house number is very clear on the house and also on the mailbox. Human error... it happens. The product is great and our whole family loves shopping on Amazon!

PS If all your home's GFI outlets (kitchens/bathrooms) are on same wiring system just note . . . heater pulls a lot of power, so if plugged into GFI outlet don't try and use air fryer at the same time, lol. I thought I had blown the heater and my air fryer, nope just needed to take a walk to our breaker box & flip the switch :) then plug into regular outlet. Whew, disaster averted.

Because the controls to turn it on and adjust the heat, etc. are on the top of the unit BUT they are just flat circles that are touch sensitive and they are not lit up. So, if you use this unit at night for a bedroom, you can't see the controls at all. You need to turn on a light in the room to operate it. This is in contrast to the temperature read out on the front of the unit which is very bright. At night it is like a headlight shining into the room. So, the unit works great and is very quiet, but the controls are hard to use, particularly at night.

The controls are simple, the remote works from at least 8ft away. Set the mode to Eco, set the temperature, and the Dreo silently keeps the area under my desk perfect. When it reaches the set temp the unit shuts off. I never hear it turn off or back on again. The internal tip-over switch works perfectly. It has a nice long cord which was nice for my desk/outlet configuration. You can also turn off the display which is nice for sleeping. Just buy it if you are looking for a small space heater!!

When it reaches the set temp the unit shuts off. I never hear it turn off or back on again. The internal tip-over switch works perfectly. It has a nice long cord which was nice for my desk/outlet configuration. You can also turn off the display which is nice for sleeping. Just buy it if you are looking for a small space heater!!
