Content: I have been through a number of mist fountain units over the past 15 years. This unit by AGPTEK performed very well, putting out a high volume of mist very consistently. However, after only about 6 months, it is now corroded and has stopped working. If you want good output, I found this to be a great unit. However, if you are looking for one that lasts long, this may not be the best choice. By comparison, I've had other units last as much as nearly 3 years; the shortest I have ever had one function was less than 2 months. This is definitely on the short end.

Content: If you follow the directions, you will definitely get fog. I let mine run all night and would need to add water the next day. It is never a good idea to touch it while it's in the water and plugged up. My husband shocked himself. It is durable and easy to use. It was easy to set up once I found the right platform to place it in the bucket I bought it for. The mechanism cannot be too far underwater so finding the right platform is a different chore. Still worked great for my cauldron.

Content: This unit is slightly bigger than the Alpine fountain foggers I've used in the past and it feels just as sturdy. It seems to put out the same amount of fog, maaaaaybe just a tiny bit less than the more expensive Alpine foggers, but at a third of the price I'm not complaining. Be mindful of where you're using it because it does splash quite a bit. If you put it in a container that's too small, it will splash out water all over the place. I just bought these this week so I can't really say anything about their longevity or hardiness at this point but I will say that after the first couple of uses I'm quite pleased with them. At this point, I definitely don't see myself spending $30 on a fountain fogger again. These are just as effective and very affordable priced. UPDATE 2/22/2017: These foggers are great! Just as good as foggers I've spent $30+ on. They put out lots of fog and they last just as long as the more expensive ones. These are a really good deal, I'll definitely be buying more in the future.
