Title: Should have bought this sooner. . . for shaving
Content: Bought this on a whim to make shaving more tolerable when the weather turns colder. I should have bought this sooner. We let the temperature in the house run down to the 60's (degF) to save on energy costs. It's not that cold, but everything in the house, including my shaving supplies, is 30 degrees colder than body temperature. So any shaving soap/cream/gel/butter will cold-shock my face and 1) make shaving unpleasant and 2) cause hairs to retract into the skin for that not-so-close shave. This heated lotion dispenser fixes both problems. I currently use Van Der Hagen Shave Butter, which is perfect for this device because it has the consistency of lotion. This device won't work with creams or gels that foam/expand during or after being dispensed from their retail container. First, this pump does *not* aerate the lotion or butter like some foaming soap pumps do (hard to do with a high viscosity fluid). And creams and gels don't stay foamy for long once dispensed. The dispenser takes two minutes to heat up, then shuts off and stays warm for the entire shaving episode. The butter is more "runny" when heated, but this is a feature and not a flaw. Lower viscosity means easier to spread on skin than 60 degree higher viscosity butter that has the consistency of, well, cold lotion (think jelly). Once warm, pump directly onto your shaving brush and apply to wet skin for a close and comfortable shave. I don't even need to touch the shaving butter or use your hands to spread onto my face, so everything is simpler and cleaner. Every once in a while, there is a product that makes me think, "I should have bought this sooner." I am pleasantly surprised with how well this dispenser works for what I need it to do.

Content: I absolutely HATE putting on lotion in the winter. Yes, I know I need it because otherwise your skin will get dry but putting on cold lotion in the winter is so icky. I wondered what if there was a way that my lotion could be hot. I did a little Google search and found this lifesaver. It's so easy to use! I put my Nivea lotion in this and it takes about 2 minutes to warm up. It feels so amazing when you use the warm lotion on your body. And I feel like it also absorbs faster since it's warm. It's also super relaxing. The only downside is it's not very sturdy when there's less lotion inside so you need to lean it against something. But overall I LOVE this thing and it's the best thing ever invented. More people need to know about this product.

Content: I got this for an elderly patient of mine. Cause he’s always complaining about his lotion being too cold. It says in the product that it works for all lotion types but it didn’t work for the cetaphil that he uses. It kept turning on and off and wouldn’t heat up. I thought it was a dud at first but he took the thick lotion out and put in a thinner one and it works great now. It heats up fast. I would recommend but only if you are fine with switching out your thick lotion for a thin one.

Content: i’ve owned one of these before and gave it away. One of my biggest regrets. It heats your lotion so that when you put it on it’s soaks right into your skin. It does liquefy your lotion, but the lotion still works. Great for cold winter days when you don’t want your lotion to be greasy before it soaks in.

Content: Ok, we all know this is not a “necessary” purchase and one that we could go without. But….. it is really nice to have lol. First off the look isn’t as nice as I would like, it looks kind of cheap. If it’s sitting out on my counter, I with they would have spruced up the design a little. As far as functionality, it’s great! I turn it on when I get in the shower and by the time I get out the lotion is warm and easy to apply. It’s cold out and the bathroom isn’t always warm so putting cold lotion on stinks! This has made me up my game with applying lotion and the scented lotions are even better when warm. If you live somewhere cold and skip applying lotion because you don’t want to be any colder…. This is your answer 😃
Title: Won't keep up with full body lotion application, bottom falls off easy
Content: I live in the midwest and must use lotion after showering during winter months. I've always just used lotion cold but saw one of these during a massage. It does work as advertised, i.e. it heats lotion. I happen to use Lubriderm lotion. I store this dispenser under the sink in a cabinet. I pull it out, plug it in, then take my shower. Dispenser is ready to go when I get out of shower. For clarification, I use three pumps of lotion five times to apply to my whole body (minus some select areas). Third set of pumps the lotion is no longer hot. It's not as cold as it would be out of the shipping container, but, it is cool. Dispenser does not recover for remainder of the application. Then there is the lotion holding compartment. It screws onto the top with about 1/16th of a turn. When removing the dispenser from my cabinet to use I have to be extreamly careful to hold on to the top and bottom at the same time as the bottom has fallen of twice now, hitting the floor and throwing lotion EVERYWHERE. The fact the the lotion is slippery and acts a lubricant doesn't help. For my application I would not purchase this again. However, I will be looking for another manufactures unit as I do love the warmed lotion.

Some lotions will be almost as thin as water, roll with that or find one that doesn't thin as much with heat. Does dribble a bit, only while it's on.

Content: This product worked great for the first few weeks and the lotion was really warm. But after using it for a few weeks, it completely stopped working and was not eligible for a return or replacement. I am going to replace it with a higher end similar product that hopefully lasts longer this time.

Content: This device is amazing! I am a chilly bug and applying lotion after bathing gives me a chill, especially during the winter. This lotion heater warms my cream in minutes. It gets very warm after 10 minutes, but the cream is warm in 2 minutes. This product adds comfort and a little luxury to my life everyday. I highly recommend this product!

Content: How is this product allowed to be listed on Amazon UK? It comes with a US/Canada plug and is very clearly labeled for 110v 60Hz power. Plug this in with an adapter in Europe and watch it catch fire!! To add insult to injury, after waiting three weeks for delivery, I have to pay return shipping to get a refund. This is NOT suitable for 220v 50Hz power. Nowhere on the Amazon UK listing does it state that it is for North American use ONLY!
