Content: These pillows are really nice--there's no denying that. We've had the same old flat pillows for years now, so I wanted to upgrade. I like these a lot! They are very comfortable. However, I think they could be fluffier/filled with more feathers. They tend to sag a bit and are not as firm as the picture led me to believe.

Content: I am really impressed with the quality of these pillows. They are very soft and very comfortable. The pillow shell is thick and quilted. There are no quills poking through at all, which is a common issue with feather, even down, pillows. The pillows were individually rolled up tight, placed in a plastic bag tube, then vacuum sealed; if those quills were going to poke through, they would have done so after that. Now here is the really amazing bit: the pillows have no smell, I could detect nothing. There may have been the slightest hint of clean and pure cotton, maybe, but that would be it. There is no airing required with these pillows. The directions state to fluff, re-fluff and then they are sleep ready; I changed it a bit to: Simply take them out, fluff them, come back 2 hours later to fluff again, give them 30 minutes and they are ready. This Goose Down & Feather Pillow is a fantastic value. The construction of the pillow is exactly what is required to make the perfect feather pillow. The value & quality are really outstanding. I have pillows that were triple the cost for 1 & the quality of these pillows is just as good. My only complaint (and it has no effect on my opinion of the product) is that there are 2 advertised sizes---King & Standard/Queen. The box notes 4 sizes---Standard, Queen, King, Standard/Queen. I ordered the Standard/Queen and received the Standard. I am sure that the seller will work with Amazon to sort this out to avoid confusion. My Rating System: 5-Stars - A Superior Product or Above Average & An Excellent Value - I would recommend. 4-Stars - Above Average OR Excellent Value – A great choice. 3-Stars - Average – What one might generally expect. 2-Stars - Below Average Product OR Poor Quality Control – Maybe seek an alternative. 1-Stars - Avoid if at all possible.
Title: Has a Feather Like Feel, but falls a little flat
Content: I have become spoiled with other pillows that are about the size of a St Bernard and are plump and huggable. This pillow here, while also on the large side, is more like a large fluff of air, so if you are looking for more cushion for the pushin, this isn't your pillow. But if you enjoy a tuft of air with a lot of fluff, these are comfy, especially if you support them with another support pillow underneath.

Content: So I ended up not liking these based purely on personal preference. I like pillows that are firmer than these. But I am still giving them 5 stars because I don't think a personal preference should be a consideration for an unbiased review based solely on the item. The pillows seem to be of very good quality. The stitching is neat and free of defects. The cases are of a good thickness. They are quite soft and fluffy, and are very comfortable, despite my preference for firmer pillows. If you like softer, fluffier pillows, you will like these. If you prefer firmer or denser pillows like me, you probably won't.
Title: Well made but material has a crunchy sound
Content: The media could not be loaded. The stitching on these pillows it’s very well done. I think it would take a lot of abuse and not bust open. It has a medium firmness, however, it flattens very easily where you lay your head on it. When I sleep on my side, I have to double it like many pillows. The one thing that annoys me about it is the crunchy sound of the material it is made out of. It makes me feel like I’m sleeping on a hospital pillow.

Content: These two pillows came out of the package and fluffed up quickly. The make up of 95% feather and 5% down makes this pillow a less fluffy feather pillow than if it had a higher down percentage. They are still very nice for me and have replaced some older pillows that needed to be retired. The pillows are not as thick as they appear in the ad photo. But for me, that is all okay. If you have never used a feather pillow one complaint some people have is they tend to make a crunchy noise when you move your head around on the pillow. For me I want only feather pillows and totally ignore the minor noise when moving.
