Content: Overall it looks good. Color is a little orangey not so much brown like wood should be. Install is easy but fit is slightly lacking. The mantel pitches forward just enough for the bubble on the level to be just out of the lines. My only real gripe is after installed, the mantel can be pushed a few inches left or right. It’s not secured to the wooden piece that is screwed to the wall. If someone leans against it or bumps into it, it can move and be off center.

Real wood and not particle board. Lightweight enough that I was confident it wouldn't rip off of the wall, but solid enough it looks like it can take the weight of stuff on top. I'll be sure to come back and change this review if something goes wrong. It's been a week and so far so good.

Content: We ordered this hoping to save ourselves some time with a project. It came and we thought ok looks nice enough and chose to keep it despite a couple of cracks in it since they were small and didn’t t seem like they’d affect the way it works and were kind hidden. Put it up and within a couple weeks it was loose coming apart on the sides, like the bottom was coming apart form the rest of it. While it looked nice because we liked the color the quality is just not there. We have had to wood glue it and swipe stain across it to cover cracks and clamps it then Brad nailed it to keep it together. This was the second one too as the first came with a dent in the corner.
