### Introduction The EASELAND Queen Size Mattress Pad Pillow Top Mattress Cover is a versatile addition to your bedroom, designed to enhance your sleeping experience with its quilted, fitted design. It provides a balance of comfort and practicality, with features like a cotton top, deep pocket stretch, and cooling capabilities, making it a popular choice for those looking to improve the feel of their mattress without the expense of a full mattress replacement. Customers have noted its quality and affordability, making it a worthy investment for your sleep setup. ### Advantages 1. **Proper Fit**: Designed with deep pockets, it fits snugly over thick mattresses and additional toppers, ensuring it stays in place without shifting. 2. **Temperature Regulation**: Provides adequate air circulation to help with temperature regulation, reducing heat retention compared to all-cotton pads. 3. **Affordable Quality**: Offers a balance of quality and price, making it a good choice for those overwhelmed by expensive alternatives. 4. **Elasticity**: Features strong elastic that is durable and does not wear out quickly, maintaining its fit over time. 5. **Surface Texture**: The top has a satin-like smoothness which prevents sheets from sliding or bunching up, providing a stable surface. 6. **Ease of Maintenance**: Although large, it can be fluffed easily in the dryer, suggesting ease of maintenance with adequate machines. 7. **Natural Material Preference**: Made from cotton, it offers a more breathable option than synthetic materials, preferred by those who value natural fibers. 8. **Versatile Use**: Can be used over a variety of bases (e.g., direct on mattress or over a memory foam topper), providing adaptable comfort solutions. 9. **Initial Use Comfort**: Enhances the comfort immediately noticeable after installation, especially for first-time users of mattress pads. 10. **Chemical Odor Management**: Any initial chemical odor from packaging dissipates with thorough washing and airing, making it user-friendly after initial setup. ### Disadvantages 1. **Limited Cooling Feature**: While it regulates heat, some users feel it doesn't provide a significant cooling effect. 2. **Initial Chemical Odor**: Upon unpacking, there is a noticeable chemical odor that requires washing and airing out. 3. **Thickness Concerns**: Some users find it thinner than expected for a ‘topper,’ necessitating additional layers for more cushioning. 4. **Washing Limitations**: Due to its size, it may not fit comfortably in all household washing machines, potentially requiring commercial facilities. 5. **Variable Thickness Perception**: Users’ perceptions of thickness vary, leading to possible mismatched expectations. 6. **Subtle Comfort Enhancement**: Not designed to add significant cushioning, more of a protective and slight comfort enhancement layer. 7. **Heat Addition in Cold Climates**: Adds warmth, which might be undesirable in warmer climates or for individuals already using layers like memory foam. 8. **Potential Long-Term Durability**: As with any textile product, long-term durability is uncertain without extended use reviews. 9. **Additional Setup Required**: Requires initial fluffing in the dryer to achieve the desired loftiness and comfort level. 10. **Not 100% Natural Fiber**: While featuring natural fibers, it’s not completely free of synthetic materials, which may not satisfy purists seeking entirely natural products. ### Conclusion The EASELAND Queen Size Mattress Pad is an economical and effective solution for those looking to upgrade their mattress feel without breaking the bank. It fits securely, adds a slight plushness, assists in regulating temperature, and is easy to maintain with a few initial setup steps. Although it may not provide deep cooling or significant cushioning, it serves its purpose as a high-quality, breathable mattress cover that delivers good value for the cost. ### FAQ 1. **Does this mattress pad actually cool the bed?** - It helps regulate temperature better than standard pads but may not significantly cool. It's more accurate to call it regulating rather than cooling. 2. **Will it fit over a mattress with a topper already on it?** - Yes, the deep pocket and strong elastic ensure it fits securely over even thick setups. 3. **How do you handle the chemical smell upon opening?** - A thorough wash and ample airing out typically eliminate any initial chemical odors. 4. **Is this pad thick enough to act as a mattress topper?** - It's primarily a pad, so if you're looking for significant cushioning, additional toppers might be needed. 5. **Can it be washed at home?** - Depending on your washing machine's size, it might require a commercial-sized machine if your washer isn’t large enough. 6. **Will my sheets slip off with this pad?** - The smooth surface helps grip sheets better than some polyester covers, reducing slipping and bunching. 7. **Does it come in other colors?** - This specific product is available in white, which is a neutral choice that works with most bedding styles. 8. **Is there a warranty or guarantee?** - Typically, there would be a standard warranty; checking with the retailer or manufacturer directly is advised for specifics. 9. **How much loft does it add?** - It adds a subtle amount of loft, enough to provide a noticeable but not overwhelming comfort increase. 10. **Is it suitable for allergy sufferers?** - Made from breathable cotton, it's generally suitable, but those with specific allergies should confirm material composition.

Title: Does the job and description is accurate
Content: This mattress pad has been on our bed for a couple weeks now and my spouse and I are happy with it. It’s at the proper price point for the product we received. I washed, dried, and fluffed it using two tennis balls on air dry in the dryer before first use. I never expected this to be like a feather bed or anywhere close, just enough loft to be, well, a pad. We already have a memory foam topper, so we have no need for additional cushioning, but we do have a need to temperature regulate because the memory foam retains a ton of body heat. This mattress pad gives enough air circulation for necessary heat regulation. I wouldn’t call it cooling at all, that’s probably a step too far. Regulating is more accurate. It can still be a little toasty at times, but overall it’s no worse temperature-wise than our previous very thin all cotton pad. The mattress pad quality seems fine. Only time will really tell. There were no loose threads or fabric irregularities. The surface fabrics felt fine to the touch. The elastic was plenty deep and holds the pad in place over a deep mattress and 4 inches of extra memory foam topper, so the elastic is also strong. Mattress pads like this have never been an item on which I spend a lot of money. I was a little flabbergasted at the amount of money non memory foam mattress pads were commanding since it’s not an item I shop for frequently anyway. This one seemed like a good compromise without hitting triple digit prices. So far, it’s worked out that way. If you were like me and both overwhelmed by the available choices and unable to really discern why one pad was twice or three times the price of another, this mattress pad might be a good one to try out. One last thing to note: this mattress pad comes packaged vacuum compressed. When we opened the package, the pad definitely had a noticeable (not overwhelming) chemical odor to it. I let it air out in a spare room for a day. It went away with a very thorough washing with several rinses and the dry and fluff I mentioned up top. If that odor had not gone away, this would be a different review. I’m not sure if it was the outer fabric, the fill, the elastic, or the packaging since it was so compressed in plastic. Be sure to wash this thing and give it plenty of air circulation to dry before using it.

Title: Fits Well, Stays Put, And Is Thick In My Opinion.
Content: I needed to replace my old mattress pad, and was looking for something that would hopeully not slide around and bunch up under me and that might be more cooling. I read the negative reviews that said this pad was thin, but the one I received is what I would consider on the thicker side. It was certainly thicker than the one I was replacing. I did toss it in the dryer on low for a few minutes to fluff it up before putting it on my bed. It is large/thick enough that I may not be able to wash it in my large size washing machine and I would consider taking it to laundrymat to wash in a commercial size machine. This pad has the feel of good quality to it. I like that the top has an almost satin like smoothness to it. . I think that's going to help keep my sheets from rubbing against it and moving it and bunching it up. I move a lot when I'm sleeping, which was causing my old pad to shift, come off on the sides, and bunch up under me. The sides are very deep and I had no issues with it covering all sides of my mattress and getting it tucked under the corners/sides of my mattress. The underside of the pad isn't as smooth, and I don't think it'll slide easily on the mattress when I toss and turn. As far as coolness goes, I'd say I'm sleeping a little cooler than with my old mattress pad. I live in the South, as transplant from the North, and am always too warm at night time. In my opinion, this is a good quality mattress pad at are really good price. If I find issue with it later on, I'll update this review.

Title: Quality
Content: The elastic all around is a generous size and fits over thick mattresses and is quality enough that it does not wear out quickly. It is thick but not thick enough to be called a comfortable topper. I bought a 1.5 inch thick egg crate memory foam and put this cover over it. This was pretty comfortable but I ended up buying a cheap duvet that was about as thick as this cover and that made for a real topper on my bed and the elastic on this cover fit over both the memory foam and duvet. I’m happy and the entire price was way cheaper than most real toppers.

Title: Comfortable, makes a difference
Content: I was going to buy a new bed but decided to hold off a little while and see if there was anything I could do to make sleep a tad more comfortable.. This was a great option. I’ve never used a mattress pad or topper before so I was excited to see what was available. You do have to throw it in the dryer to fluff it out. I did on high heat for 30 minutes, and it does make a huge difference. This is only my first night actually using it but it makes my bed look and feel bigger, especially since my set doesn’t have a boxspring. It fits super snug around my mattress, there’s more than enough material to wrap the bed. It’s soft enough and also adds some heat to the sleep experience so far but I’m not complaining in the midwest winter.

Title: A quality mattress pad that provides a little poof.
Content: I don’t know what the expectations are of some people’s reviews that this doesn’t add any cushioning to their mattress. It isn’t supposed to. Buy a foam mattress topper if you want that. This has enough fluff to provide a tiny layer between you and your mattress. I replaced a cheap microfiber cover with this cotton fabric cover and made a huge difference. First the slickness of polyester makes your sheets slide around and this nice cotton doesn’t and grips them nicely. Plus polyester retains heat and this is much more breathable. I like to use natural fibers like 100% cotton or linen. This may not be 100% cotton but it feels much more natural than all that brushed or slick microfiber junk out there. It has enough poof that you can see the box baffles through my thick flannel sheets so that is enough padding from a mattress cover. I put it on my new hybrid mattress and love it. Please support manufacturers that sell natural fibers. It is worth the money and becoming harder to find.

Title: Better sleep with this topper.
Content: This cotton topper helps to wick away the heat of these hot summer nights. I wish it was a little thicker but I do believe I received value for my money.
