I got REAL tired of it and if something wet happens, the insert is ruined. These dog beds are new and after washing the covers twice already I thought of this. A water proof mattress cover. I have big dogs, big beds so the crib size didn't work, the twin did. And I love the choice of colors and the texture of this brand. Last week one of my dogs threw up on the dog bed. I just took this cover off and replaced it in a couple of minutes with a clean one and washed the dirty one. Clean dog bed immediatly. At first I thought I would need a sheet too but these are so pretty I don't. It was a lot of trial and error to find exactly what I had in mind and this was my answer. Good quality, I like the texture, the fitted corners keep them in place, it's easy to put on and there are a lot of pretty colors to choose from to match your decor. Content: We just upgraded to a Sleep Number and wanted to try and protect the mattress as much as possible. Fortunately/unfortunately depending on how you want to look at it, our new puppy put it to the test and had tinkled on our bed, but this sheet did a great job and stopped any from getting anywhere near the mattress! It also washes really well and stretches over our king mattress no problem! Super happy with the sheet and also the price was not bad at all as well! We have already bought a second one so we always have one ready in rotation. Definitely recommend!

Content: UPDATE: King size nicely fit my couch, waterproof and keeps the couch clean from the dogs. Wash, dry, replace. Anyone who has dogs beds feels the pain of taking off the cover, washing and drying it, keeping the dogs off the insert until you wrestle to get the clean cover back on. I got REAL tired of it and if something wet happens, the insert is ruined. These dog beds are new and after washing the covers twice already I thought of this. A water proof mattress cover. I have big dogs, big beds so the crib size didn't work, the twin did. And I love the choice of colors and the texture of this brand. Last week one of my dogs threw up on the dog bed. I just took this cover off and replaced it in a couple of minutes with a clean one and washed the dirty one. Clean dog bed immediatly. At first I thought I would need a sheet too but these are so pretty I don't. It was a lot of trial and error to find exactly what I had in mind and this was my answer. Good quality, I like the texture, the fitted corners keep them in place, it's easy to put on and there are a lot of pretty colors to choose from to match your decor. I don't see me having to replace dog beds anytime soon, they are expensive, or of my house smelling of dirty dog beds. I even ordered a king size to see if it would work as a couch cover. Crazy but worth a try. If it does work, I'm ordering Queen size for the recliners. I just want something to cover my furniture that my dogs sit on too and pull off quickly when company comes. I've tried everything else. They either slide off or are too difficult to put on and take off. Waterproof fitted mattress covers, I can't wait to see if it works. It sure did solve my dog bed issue! I have the Sage Green to match my green walls, very soft and pretty color and I ordered the denim. I have almost no sense of smell so I thought different colors would remind me to "change the sheets," even when they don't look bad. Winter is coming and I am going to have a lot of snowy dogs coming in to lay on those beds and they'll get wet and I can just change the cover. And color is fun. The price is right, the quality is good so I am going to go and choose my next color. I hope this idea helped some people out there!
Title: Great at First, But Durability is a Deal-Breaker
Content: Started off really impressed with this mattress protector - the terry cloth felt nice and plush, and it fit my full mattress perfectly. But after just a few months of regular washing (you know, the usual spills and weekly changes), the waterproof backing started cracking and peeling off in chunks. The elastic around the edges got super loose too, so now it won't stay put and bunches up under the sheets. For something that's supposed to protect your mattress, it's pretty frustrating when it can't even survive basic washing. Save yourself the hassle and invest in something more durable - wish I had! Good price point, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Content: Had the norovirus and nothing went through the protector (THANK GOD) glad we got this because so many are not water proof like this one is. Has deep pockets/ edge for ease of installation and works on many mattress depths (mine is 13/14 in).no cushioning but soft top.

Content: We have this on all the beds due to having a toddler who is potty training and it has prevented damage to the mattresses for sure! works great! The sides aren't fully protected though but we have a full encasement under this for extra insurance and then this sheet style one on top that is is easy to take off and wash. This combo has worked great for us and makes middle of the night changes not a hassle
