Content: To reduce expenses and to help protect the environment, in early 2021 our household started taking a number of measures to cut our energy consumption. Those measures have proven successful: total 2021 electricity consumption in our single-family, detached home in the US SE was about 8,000 kWh (3,200 of which was for HVAC), compared to about 11,000 kWh annual average in previous years. In addition to improving energy efficiency, we have thought about privacy and, in certain rooms, blocking bright light (to allow for sleep by day, for photography and video production…). With all this in mind, we are very pleased with our LEMOMO Black Thermal Blackout Curtains. They’re thick, solid, soft to the touch, and – when installed from ceiling to floor – they do a superb job of blocking even the brightest sunshine. We left our existing curtains in place and installed the Lemomo curtains on top of them. This meant that we needed curtain braces that extend several inches away from the wall. Content: I bought these for my dining room and liked them so much I got more for the living room. They are thick, strong material. Great at blocking out light. The colors are beautiful. They come out of the packaging with little to no wrinkles too. Cannot recommend enough.

Content: I love these curtains. Given the price, I was a bit nervous how they would feel but they’re really smooth/soft and not “crinkley” or cheap feeling. They are room darkening, not total blackout, but they help a lot with heat in the living room from Florida sun. I’d totally recommend these!

Content: These are very nice and look wonderful. There are differences though between these and the 100% version from the brand. My windows are all facing the full force of the sun during the day. I like to sleep in total dark and I hate having to run my AC. These curtains do make a big difference for me. PROS: -- These get the living room (with a larger window) almost but not quite as dark. Even in the bright midday sunlight, you can see that they do a good job in the living room. --These really do darken a room. -- To my surprise, they also really tamp down outside noise. I live at the front of the building and I love that I'm not hearing all the distant chatter and moving about. -- They look more lux than I expected for the price. There is nothing cheap-looking about these. -- The black ones don't accumulate dust. I was worried about that because we get a lot of dust. -- Out of about 6 brands I priced, these were the best for quality. Also, you get 2 panels for the price. -- Though these did have some wrinkles when I unpackaged them, those fell out after a couple of days when I used wrinkle-release spray. Do that after you hang them up and the wrinkles gradually fade. -- I have yet to turn on my AC this summer & usually, I have to as soon as we hit 80F. There are no real negatives but I want to point out something. The grommets are large and can let in a lot of light. I hung mine higher than I expected to work around this. You can see that the living room curtains sit a bit high off the floor. It doesn't look bad but just plan for this. I also threaded some fabric through the bedroom curtains to block the grommets. Comparing these "regular" blackouts to the 100 % blackout curtains (from the same brand), I prefer the 100% version for the extra cooling effect alone. These are (according to the seller when I asked) "85%-99% blackout". I think they are correct. Just pay attention when ordering because it's easy to get these instead of the 100% blackout version. (I do prefer the 100% ones for the extra cooling I get from them.) For cooling, these have been so nice. I can tell a difference with these in the living room. However, there is a HUGE cooling effect with the 100% blackout that I have in my bedroom. Between these and the floor fan, I have no need yet to turn on the AC and the outside temps here have been as high as 85F. The humidity is really high with the heat. These curtains - even the "regular" blackout ones have been a big help. But, again, I would suggest just getting the 100% blackout. They are worth every penny for what I save on my electricity. Keep in mind that it's going to depend on how much temperature protection you need. If you just need decent cooling (or heat retention), these are really good. If, like me, you are dealing with a lot of heat from the sun go with the 100% blackout from the brand.

Content: These are really budget nice blackout curtains. They’re not terribly thick, but they definitely keep all the light out. It’s very impressive.

Content: Honestly at first the price did seam quite steep, but after putting them on they were exactly what I'd seen advertised. Definitely worth the price of you can afford. Was thinking that the 52 inch one was too long, but then later realised that it helps to block out the sunlight at the bottom And if your wondering if the white glitter on the curtain is the sunlight it isn't, it's just the materials on the curtain itself, so the sunlight is only coming out the sides.
