This protector is completely waterproof and blood prof. I had a dental procedure performed and that same night had considerable bleeding while sleeping and the protector did not let any blood seep into my new pillow. The blood washed completely out of the protector easily with a blood stain removing product. Highly recommend this product for quality, comfort and performance.
